hello all,

For 49, what is BiS? +23 SP, +18 intel or Power Torrent (on proc)? Personally i pref the stat, not the proc one but what are you guys going for?

Locks cant use maces - the mara/princess is BiS right? Got the Furbolg medicine pouch as OH.

Ill try out Ele force and see how it is. So, satyr on neck instead of haste - worth it?
 
Yeah go with mara dagger with Power Torrent, that's what i use with every caster toon and it works out just fine.
You'll want to use the epic Mara dagger from Princess and then for offhand use the epic book from strat living side I believe.

The medicine pouch isn't near BIS and the on use doesn't work. There's only 1 offhand with more int than the epic book that i've seen and I cannot remember the name.
 
I don't think the power torrent proc is enough to be worth using over the flat sp enchant now. Maybe some argument for it on something like an aff lock that dump shards with a proc, but I'll usually take 23 static sp over 43 int ~25% of the time.

It really comes down to Ele Force vs. SP imo. Ele Force is better single target damage, Spellpower is better spread damage. The one that does more overall will vary from BG to BG, but EF is probably a bit more consistent.
 
23 SP > 18 intel? I belive 1SP=1intel but intel obv gives you crit as well but what about things like +5% stats (when using all cloth/ all leather etc). Thought i read somewhere on elitejerks or somewhere that this comparison, 1 intel is actually 1,1xxx intel but 1SP just equals 1 intel .

Then again, this is such a fine margin. Hardly any difference.

Medecine pouch on use does not work???? Is that comfirmed in 8.0? Bah!

Pretty much the conclusion I'd come to - I run Power Torrent on my 39 Horde Disc and SP on my 39 Mage, on a 39 having ~310 SP all the time is better than having the lower up time of PT. I'd run EF either was primarily a dot class.

As a side note although the int proc is lower Jade Spirit may still be an option as the MoP enchants have a different ICD and proc more often than the previous expansions enchants
