RIP to all the people who didn't actually gear their twinks besides whites and greens with no enchants when Pre-Patch comes around.

You're gonna have to gear up or get stomped. The lazy people who just rolled alts and didn't care about gear for dueling and wpvp are about to be fodder.

pretty strong chance that without the artificial balance that the template system went some ways to providing that the queues will be split again imo.........if that happens people will yearn for the quick queue times..................

I doubt they will split xpoff and on pvp again. If anything they will probably have a health cap while allowing primary stats and secondary stats to be non standardized that way the geared players will hit HARDER without having an insane health advantage on top of it.

It has it's ups and downs. If BFA is really populated but this is the case (separated queues), 19s and 29s would thrive whereas 39s and 49s would have to work hard to keep a dedicated playerbase. Anything higher would probably be dead because people don't like leveling that much.

I hope that there's a good middle-ground of being OP due to gearing, but also not being too OP to the extent where levelers complain and Blizz reintroduces templates or separated brackets.

I think this is one of the Expansions we're twinks will have the biggest advantage against levelers, IF all items found on Beta/PTR make it to Live. A leveler who just dinged level 10, would maybe have just over 600 hp? (Rough guess) Whereas a fully geared priest for example: Geared as in BiS Eng/other gear, could have 2,5k+ hp in a stam set, or 250+ spellpower in another set.

You'll but most of 19's will migrate 29's to farm the s.. out of 20's without enchants. These are the same people talking about 'competitive' games. Cata/panda 24's are mostly 19's rerollers. Been there, seen it.

The reason a lot of 19's migrated to 29's in WoD was because 19 simply wasn't popping on EU. Blackout revived the bracket for a couple of months with an initiative to play at 7PM realm time. People simply played 29's in the meantime because it was the most active bracket.
 
Split queues would be horrible. Sure the games are awesome! But many of you seem to forget how things used to be. Remember when everyone had to transfer to ruin battlegroup? And then we had 10+ minute queues at peak times? And if you wanted to play outside of a few hour time frame there were no pops at all? Oh, and what about when one group of people would queue together, farm GY for 15 minutes because “we just waited for 20 minutes for the queue” and then the other faction would ragequit and not queue again?

Enchants and gear custumization will be great to have back. I can’t stand queueing with white items and fishing trinkets.. but I hope our enchants get scaled down to a degree that we are not overpowered to the point bliz splits queues.

You guys are being overly optimistic. 19s and 29s will get pops initially. All other brackets will die. I have seen a lot of effort from several guilds at 49, but two or three guilds isn’t enough to maintain a bracket.

Yes I remember and still it was better than playing against lvlers and randoms without any clue...

Just because people had their xp off did not mean they had a clue either.

I totally agree. There have always been and will continue to be a certain segment of the WoW plyr populous that are lazy, and try to feed off of others... like in real life. Like many others, I was one of those that was really pissed-off at blizziod for removing enchants in RBG's. I quit their game several times because of this. When you continue to do a shit job of setting power and talents as blizziod has done, enchants were your only hope to even the playing field. I am pleased blizziod has come to their senses!
