Pick a SINGLE candidate of your own choosing. You could choose something serious if you have a genuine word in the manner, or something stupid if you wish to be funny.

Afterwards I will create a poll for the top nominations.

Bare in mind, anyone who is not:

-A natural born citizen of the US

-Resident of the US for at least 14 years

-at least 35 years of age by the time of inauguration (1/20/2021)

Anyone who does not fit all of these criteria will not be included in the final poll.

My nomination goes to Ben Shapiro

Love the guy. He thinks rationally on nearly every political discussion. He is one of the major voices against political correctness and uses facts as the basis of discussion rather than blind emotion. I also believe he would prove a great negotiator between him and leaders of other nations.

Up until this point I was between left and right. But not I'm siding with the right seeing how ridiculous things have gotten on the left. As he said, he would not vote for another democrat until their party is fixed.

I'm in with the lot of people who dislike Trump for social reasons, and not political. So far I think his political actions have been pretty faithful to the constitution, but his presentation as a stable-minded person who can keep a discussion professional has not held up well. I believe he destroys America's intellectual perception from other nations' points of view. Someone also needs to take his damn phone away. What a strange character in history he'd be...

I do not care for Ben's religious views nor his stance on abortion. But that's the thing about people.. You can like someone without agreeing completely on every thing they say. As long as the pros outweigh the cons. He also would annihilate most political opposition in any intellectual debate.

Unironically, Sanders, but he already said that he wouldn't run.
I personally don't agree with PC culture, but I'm not gonna side with a candidate just because they're anti-PC.

I liked Sanders at first after watching C-span footage of him testifying about the War in the middle east in the 90s and his stance against the Federal Reserve. It just felt like he dropped most of his strong-points in the election and substituted it to pandering to minorities and started yelling out "free stuff!" without any detail on how it would come to fruition. And I don't see "taxing large corporations" as a very good means of doing so without increasing the price of our daily expenses.

As for the whole PC thing, I believe we're at a point (or past the point) where PC politics has drastically shaped our economic decisions and could potentially pose a threat to our freedom of speech. Canada is an example. And if we let things get too out of hand, we could see first hand the immigration crisis that's been happening all over Europe.

I like Ben Shapiro but I feel like even he has a lot of blind spots when it comes to policy. He is extremely pro-Israel even when it comes to issues of human rights being violated. I like someone like Sam Harris a lot better in terms of his stance on religion, foreign policy, abortion and the responsible use of psychedelics. He is objective even when its unpopular. If I could magically create a perfect candidate, it would be a fusion of Sam Harris' lens of philosophy, Shapiro's quick wit and incisive language use, and Sanders' sense of purity in terms of not accepting corporate funding and general sense of good will.

As for who will actually be a nominee that I currently like is Elizabeth Warren. I like the current movement in the democratic party of rejecting corporate donations. I hate how none of the candidates are rejecting union donations though. It's kind of hypocritical to run under the guise of getting money out of politics but also accepting union money.

if donald trump doesn't win again maybe half a rotten banana could lead the united states

or maybe ... maybe a napkin somebody wiped their mouth with, or... maybe a tapeworm?
