US Been away for 2 years. A couple questions

The only one we know of, and its been a while since this system went into place. I don't know if anyone has definitively gone through every possible enchant though.

So all those versatility, armor, +9 all stats and +2% speed increase enchants all mean nothing?

In instanced PvP in the current patch (7.3.5), yes. So only for BGs and areans. Duels and wpvp everything works as is. Instanced pvp is currently based heavily on ilvl.

Remember that most of those enchants are not available to F2P either (currently).

This may all be changing very soon with the BfA pre-patch. Templates might change or go away. Enchants might work again. So its hard to set goals for this patch when lots of stuff will change within the next month or two.
 
Atm I’m not F2P. I paid for a month but all my twinks are 20. I’m just worried about having fun rn. So idc what’s going to change in a month or two. So is haste the only enchant that procs or do all the weapon proc enchants work? Ty all for being patient with my questions

Ahhh this is in the F2P forums so I wasn't sure if F2P or vet. Black magic is literally the only enchant that is known to work. It happens to give a tiny bit of haste (scales to level), and only on spell procs. So caster classes can proc it. Blood Elf AoE and Undead on-hit racials can proc it too.

For now, get the white neck, rings, and offhand (if need be) for all your twinks. Level engineering and get any relevant (correct armor type) + trinkets gear. Then get dungeon gear (ilvl 26). Then do BGs, which can drop ilvl 28 gear (rarely). As a veteran, you can get slightly above the ilvl where it matters (34). With F2P its stupid hard or impossible depending on the class to get above 34, so gear doesn't matter. So really just make sure you're wearing all of the correct armor type and use a wand if you can. You can read the guide in my sig if you want a lot more detail (its oriented to 19s, but the concepts all apply with 1 higher ilvl).

This is misleading and incorrect. The Instanced pvp is currently based on a template system. The stats of each template can be slightly (and i dont want to understate the word 'slightly' here, we're talking not worth bothering amounts here) increased by increasing your ilvl.

The only real thing you need toi worry about to get the full of benefits of each template is to fill every slot with the correct armor type and if you can use a wand then do so

Its a very low proc rate, and only on spells. If you're relying on something like the BE or undead racial to proc it, you can go entire games without it proccing. What class/race are you on?

I’m a Golbin Enhancement Shaman and it procs out of BGs all the time for me but it is grayed out in BGs which means it can not proc in pvp instances

Though, i do recommend spending some time going through at least the first few pages here, as it will give you a good idea of what you can expect from a trial account and (probably) will answer your questions.

The fact that its grayed out does not tell you if it works in BGs or not. Several enchants are green, but still don't work. Black Magic is grayed out, but if you parse your logs or use recount/skada/etc you can see that you get the buff. Theres a few instances of the tooltips saying one thing but another being true - its one of those things about twinking to find those small advantages and mistakes on blizzards part.
 
If I get my engineering to 225 and make http://www.wowhead.com/item=10542 if I unlearn it. Will I still be able to use it if I never unequip it? Also is there any thread out there that shows all the available consumables, enchants and toys you can use in BGs? If so. Can someone link them please

You can wear it but not use it and it won't give stats.
