I am trying to figure out the impact of weapon damage on weapons, they said it would not matter anymore.
BUT lower ilvl-dps weapons do slightly less damage.. Does anybody have an idea of the formula?

EDIT: those set bonuses on Fang set posted on page two are...ineresting

EDIT2: using sharpening stones +3 on main weapon increased the damage of two skills by the same amount, it seems weapon damage is added after attack power calculations (testing in ogrimmar, can't test WPVP or BG)

This is most likely the case. Peerless vs Glorious. Glorious used to display an incorrect +2 (it only gave +1), but its hard to tell the difference once its been enchanted.

Of the bear/monkey/etc seems not even exist anymore. They were either assigned a random new suffix or given baseline stats. Such is the case for green lens, revlosh gear, inscription/tarot chest and shoulders, emissary cuffs, aquamarine signet, and so on.

I was hoping my suffix would at least have been replaced by one of the new ones instead of being completely stripped to nill. dangit

Nice to see old GFd twinks being able to use their old gear again for effective use. For the longest time they've been obsolete, but seeing as though invasion warforges are taking a little bit of a hit, they will probably pass up a few
