Choosing a bracket!?

Hey guys I've gotten the older twink fever again and wondering if people can help me in choosing a bracket!

I'm looking to do mostly random battleground PvP.

In terms of battlegrounds:

65+ get Strand
75+ get IoC, Gilneas, and Twin Peaks
90+ get Mines, Kotmogu, and Gorge

if you're lookin to feel as op as possible I like 69s/79s. you get good extra stats and consumables if u want. bis 79s are gfed however as 69s are not but both are similar. My 69 arcane can one shot if i I line up buffs well

there are more xp off players in 19 and 29. the biggest gear gap between leveling players and twinks has to be 99.

You can do all of thoose bgs at 55 if not earlier.
But more bgs just means that you cant blacklist all the bad ones.
If you are 30 you have access to all the good ones (in my opinion, WSG, AB, EOTS, AV, TP, Gileas) and non of the bad ones.

If you want to get to the point of knowing the community and having some rivalry (as far as wanting to beat certain players etc) you should go 19. If you want to be overpowered and have fun you should go 99 (to be fair i haven't tried 69/70). In any case, I'd advise looking for a guild first. Having a guild you enjoy playing with makes a world of difference.

also to consider, it takes maybe 2 hours to get a 19 pretty geared.
99s have to do every quest line in legion after hitting 99. so...lots of time involved.

I'm new to twinking and would love to know how to figure this out by level. I'm interested in world pvp so I'm not so much interested in a 'bracket' as I am in a level. Thanks in advance for any help on how to figure this out!

World pvp is kinda dead, but my guess would be 101 twinks since they run around in "current content" areas, so logically speaking, there'd be the most players to find.

Could also try level 60 since they introduced the zone scaling thing. Maybe you'll find some people in the classic and TBC areas.

I stopped a shaman at 101 on a whim and then discovered the agonizing artifact power grind, and the high prices of auction-house gear. If I'd stumbled into twinking a year ago, 101 would likely be my preferred bracket. But with the game changing how it scales, and roughly 6-months before Battle for Azeroth launches, I'm less interested in grinding artifact power when artifact weapons are going to lose that mechanic in 6-months. Also, I just don't have that kind of gold to play with, and again, with just 6-months to big changes ahead, I'm not feeling motivated by the gold/gear grind to make a 101 happen.

I have thought about 60, only because I think being able to fly on my own is kind of a big deal when looking for world opportunities for pvp encounters.

Thanks for your reply, Bestworld. Oh, I watched the extended trailer and the 19 clip in your signature. Good times!

39 is fun. You can play almost anything and do well.

Yeah, I read a few threads recently about 19 and 29 toxicity and felt like 39 would be a nice easy & fast place to stop. I'm leveling a rogue right now and looking though my talents and abilities, as assassination spec (my preferred spec), I get Mutilate at 40, which is 40-ish percent more damage than Sinister Strike. I'm also feeling a bit energy starved right now so the 45 talent Vigor (50 extra energy + faster regen) seems not far off and pretty desirable in its own right.

But for me, as a rogue, I feel 'incomplete' without having Vanish, which doesn't appear until level 48. So, I'm thinking 48 is the minimum level I'd want to be as a rogue for it to really feel like a rogue. But, as I mentioned to Bestworld, above, being able to fly on my own makes level 60 pretty attractive, too. And, since I'm not looking for battleground brackets so much as I am a level that feels good to me, somewhere between 48 and 60 is looking pretty good to me.

Thanks for your replies. Also, sorry if this feels like I've hijacked the bracket thread. Feel free to break it out as a separate thread if that feels better to the mods/admins.

I've heard good things about assassination even with mut. The only negative thing I'll say about 39s so far us the games are really easy. A lot of levelers, that don't know what to do. Some guild vs guild would be some good competition. I'm on bleeding hollow horde.
Aren't Q times long for 39s?
