US Arcane Intellect

and those Arcane int buffs feel like Hunters marks for me... those are the first to perish.

And that's all you have to do. A lot of these Anonymous that blew in with Legion seem to just want to complain about it rather than put in a little bit of effort to coordinate a kill. It's just 1 kill.

Hard to do when a lot of the people that que in BGs are levelers in Grey's who don't know how to focus or be useful to the team. Meanwhile were facing premades who are geared cordinated and have a buff that makes them a demi god in this bracket. None of My Horde characters use the buff because I rely on skill and legitimacy

Sure, if I too were Anonymous, no-one could say otherwise.

Now to say that a lot of people that queue into Alliance BGs are "levelers in greys" is trying to paint a bleak picture. I play Alliance far more than I play Horde, and if I found if you actually speak up and make an effort you'll get somewhere, but if you just hope things will come together and people will stop playing their solo game, then you come to the forums and complain.
The things is Horde queueing with Surv/Priest premades all day like Vipers and Warlords for example is more troublesome than a tiny int buff, and that's unlikely to stop until some new fotm pops up.

If you can't manage to get a single kill on those with an int buff, then chances are your team wasn't going to perform too well regardless. So in that case, you grab a Kleenex, dry your tears and try to accept you can't win them all. This iteration of the 19's bracket is a boring shitfest anyway.

Ban anons 2018

ok.. so i just recently found out about this int buff. Like literally a week ago. haven't been keeping up on all the "twink drama" ..lol. I've been twinking toons since vanilla, when we used to have to work to get our enchants, gear..long quest lines for random objects that made stuff that mattered to twinks... because they gave us that "extra" in bg's...and we worked our asses off to get that..That's what twinking is all about, and has always been about finding that "extra". I for one will use this buff when i can, <especially since it's new to me >, and no i'm not trying to mask shitty player stuff, I'm not the best, but I am a decent healer. I'm sure you ally have something over there that we can not get..and yes even when I use it I still die with it, no it doesn't make me all powerful, just gives a little "extra" when I feel like taking the time to get it. =) so pls, ...if you had it you'd use it.

Alliance does not have something like this.
Mind you, I am an advocate for using everything in the game. It is simply what “twinking” is, like it or not.

/cheers

Its nerfed on Tuesday anyway. Enjoy the crutch while you can.

In Borean Tundra, outside the horde base, there’s an area with spider-like creatures and cocoons. Kill the cocoons until there’s a mage npc in one, he’ll buff you with the intel buff.
Dude no, dont tell people
[doublepost=1531486261,1531486108][/doublepost]Ive had a 19 shaman for almost since i began playing wow but just could never play a shaman for some reason (just absolutely trash at it) early in legion when i really wanted to enjoy a shaman i used the buff for a few BGs just to get rotations down without “resistance” and still ended up not doing anything productive for the BG because i was so bad at sham. The buff is a literal crutch in all forms and should not be used by someone seriously playing the bracket. And it is definitely bannable

This buff is not bannable its literally a buff given by a mob that has been in the game since wotlk lol

I mean according to ToS anything is bannable.

Technically true, and then not entirely as well. It's a bit weird. While Blizzard say they hold supreme power in banning as they seem fit, they're obviously not "abusing" their power in doing so. They obviously want a happy consumer-base. If Blizzard was ban-happy, we'd see a lot more bans on things.

Its not being used as it was intended, therefore being exploited, therefore bannable. Ive never heard anything directly saying this. But using past examples such as “paladin 1 shotting kazzak with reckoning”

You are comparing something minuscule to something that had great impact at endgame at the time. And I don't believe anyone got banned for that exploit either, as it was simply a "clever use of game mechanics" that later got fixed.

Yeah, queuing with 60 int is douchy at low level, especially since 60 int means A LOT at levels where common int is pretty low, and having their abilities scaled around that. But, it will never result in a ban, ever.

You can be banned for most things yes. All the “jumps” we use are exploiting game mechanics, and are technically bannable offenses. To ACTUALLY be banned though you need to exploit to a point where it will raise some eyebrows. Pretty unlikely you could be banned for using the 60 int buff, but if you were camping a GY with it and someone reported you, I bet it’s possible. Just because it is “in the game” does not mean you are safe. Remember saronite bombs on LK? All they did was use the bombs as bombs are meant to be used- but it gave them an unfair advantage as deemed by blizzard. Same thing can be said for the 60 int buff, as you arnt meant to have access to it at 19.

We are twinks though, and that is what most of us do. Find ways to become more powerful for our level. Im sure some people get tired of me saying this, but I’ll say it again.

Consumables/gliders/scrolls/bombs and whatever else you want to use is fair game IMO. Blizzard lets you make elixirs, so use them. Those that like to harp about consumables are poor losers. Winners don’t make excuses for losing- and if you claim “I would have won if the other team didn’t speed pot” then guess what- you lack the “skill” to overcome a potion. It’s much easier to use them yourself than convince others to not use them... but 60 int is something different. It would be one thing if it were class specific, and made say- mages much better than warlocks, but with it being faction specific it dirties the water. I also see this buff as something different than a grandfathered enchant or a +94 health elixir, as it adds a HUGE flat damage increase. At the same time though, I can’t control horde queueing with the buff.

Twinking isn’t and has never been balanced. Don’t kid yourselves that people should or shouldn’t play certain classes/specs based on “balance”. Organized premades, sure. Make rules that both teams have to abide by- and you’ll have a balanced game- but i see too many people turning purple in the face because they’re bothered by what other people do with their toons.

How about we just report everyone with the buff and see how it turns out.

How about we vote you afk every game and you never play wsg again

This is in no way the same level as 1 shotting a boss at max lvl, it's the same spell as a mage buff but does not scale until BFA.
