Are 91s viable in pvp? Was looking over ah and req level 91 plate epics with upgrade of 6 times. If anyone has made one do you get a bonus is ipvp?

Okay thanks everyone has been telling me about the 99s, was just curious. I have a character sitting at 91 was more of a bored thing i might try.

99 for pve and pvp imo. 91s are pretty nice as tanks etc, but really lack the utility of artifact weapons

91s, as of right now, can achieve the highest stats. I leveled my 91 fire mage and my stats before I leveled were 100% crit 35% haste, and a decent amount of mastery. But depending how you gear and socket, you could have for example 150% mastery and still 25-30% haste and crit. These are rough numbers but I think a lot would agree are realistic to the kind of stats achieveable.
The thing with SOO is it’s a huge raid that has multiple drops for armor type item slots. In other words, if you don’t want a haste/mastery boot, you can bet there are 2-3 more kinds of boots somewhere in SOO. So you can literally stat however you want, making testing for BIS pve setup optimal. I’m pretty sure rogues we’re getting close to 300% mastery and that number is still likely close to achievable as the way stats are effected by 91s has oddly enough not changed.
If BGs are not your thing and you are the kinda person who likes to see big stats, big hits, and frequent crits, 91 would be right up your alley. But as shiney mentioned, 99 if your going to BG.
