Zatox with a GF'd 2009 join date on TI (probably playing since classic or at least since BC so over a decade playing this game) with maybe 10,000-20,000 hours put into WoW and over $3000 which is enough time to master and memorize everything about this game and become a prodigy especially with 5 button lvl 19s forgets how librams stopped working :) ;) XD.

Well known psychological fact that those that look to correct others, especially in public, has a lot to do with signaling to other people. People that do this are trying to signal their expertise in a subject. Because by being able to identify mistakes indicates that you know something than the person who committed the error.
Those who engage in public correctness of this sort often are looking to feel good about themselves. Displays of all-knowingness displays a ready made opportunity to do so.

Example...
If I happen to feel the need to feel good about my one of my skill sets, one way would be to give myself evidence that my skills are awesome. Another way is to give myself evidence that other’s skills suck. So by putting other people down I make myself feel better.

what if he just likes to get drunk and have fun on ti? what if the college level analization and lecture of his post (which was fabulous btw youre a very seasoned teacher, alley.) is completely superfluous to the entire situation?
