EU+US Will you still play 101 after legion ?

I'm wondering what will happen of this bracket
will there be any advantage in playing 101 really ? when all the playerbase will have moved from 110 to 115 or 120, and a 101 will be like ants compared to them in terms of power ?

and if there is no 111 twinking will that change your view ?

interested in your thoughts :)

personally I see 101 as something very very powerful but since it's pve power, eventually at max level after legion I don't see how it would keep its attractivity
 
For me I am enjoying the wave right now. Seems right. Only time will tell when the new expac comes out. If anything I might level to 109 and stay at that bracket should a stat squish occur. I'm not to worried atm since I have already made my investment 10 fold. Besides my goal for this twink is hit has many artifact traits as I can before the new expac release, I want to see what happens at trait 35.
 
I still cry when I logon to my 80 DK and see all his wonder 4xx ilvl armor that became absolutely useless with the stat squish.

I didn't twink last xpac and if Legion twinks go the way of the 80s, then fuck blizzard. Seriously...we don't really need a stat squish.

To answer your question, my hope is that 111 twinks are like 101 twinks and so I can do both :)
 
some will keep their toons as thropy toons, some will move on to 109 or endgame, and maby there will be the "new" 101 with the new expansion, who knows? :)

my plan is to go 109 with my 101 rogue, but im waiting to see what the next expansion will be and what features will come with it.
 
in instanced pvp 101 would still work as "twinks" but since 90% of the point to do 101 twinking is pve (imo) then it would mean that 101 twinks will just be like any other bracket like 19 or 29, and more "niche" compared to nowadays

for me the end legion will kill 101 twinking as we know it
could be worse if there's a stat squish
 
I would probably level up, no point staying on 101 since it's only for PVE and total useless in iPVP and will become even more useless in wPVP when people are 115-120.
 
if 101 gear is stat squished to being nearly useless, ill lvl, otherwise ill stay 101 due to legendary wod ring. Prob make a 109 or 111 if relevant.
 
109 most likely. Already took my paladin there because ret was so sh!tty at 101. The reasons to stay 101 for me are primarily PvE farming, WPvP, or boosting, all of which will be ruined if a stat squish goes into effect. The only benefit to keeping the gear is to make an instanced PvP character.

I would have quit the game again for the um-teenth time if I had not started my 101s early in 2017. The way I see things is I have got plenty of enjoyment and use out of them at this point so I'm ok with whatever happens.
 
Do you think they will actually keep the WarForged/TitanForged system intact moving forward? I mean 835 BoE is good, but the 875+ is where it really became OP-Broken status for us.
 
they could scrap the whole idea of item procs, we can't really say what's in their mind, hopefully we'll gather some info during blizzcon
 
One thing I would not do is expect any kind of pattern out of Blizz. It seems they change their mind every few years and go down a new path.

I guess that's a pattern in itself. Disregard :p
 
I will level up to 110 at least so i can learn one of the 3 Val'jar rep mount as well as the 1 High mount rep mount I have gotten so far... unlearnable at 101 :(

you can probably ask an gm for help in that, some might give your account the mount you have but cant use on that particular char

This is why I am not throwing gold into 810/910 relics. I am also not spending hours farming AP. I will do some archeology when watching tv or a movie and i have nothing else to do. It is actually faster time spent for me to farm resources on 110s and have them doing rep token missions and getting 400AP from each paragon turn in than it is to farm AP any other way.
