EU+US iLvl Scaling Question

Hey just wondering what is better for battlegrounds:

Invasion Wand (iLvl 44 | blue quality)

or

Blade of Eternal Darkness (iLvl 39 | epic quality).

I know iLvl matters but also apparently rarity matters too?

Wands in general give better stats since they count as a 2-hander in the stat template, which means it's essentially the same as equipping a staff + off-hand, and since you can get Stratholm lily with that, which is an extra 70 ilvl item, you should always go for a wand + off-hand if that's an option.

Until wands are fixed, they will always be better, no matter the rarity.
