US LF boomkie 101 twink help

hey guys, i just run into a 101 boomkin twink while leveling my alt and my mind was blown, i never ever had that happen and doing some search i found this forum ! I wanna join the train, but i find it a little bit blurry between the lines. Been checking my AH prices for some cheap 840+ 101 gear but im having some trouble (in my heart) with leech. I really have no idea nor do i find how much leech should i need. Some people say 10%, others 25-30%, i do understand the higher ilvl twinks need less but could some boomie here enlighten me ?

TLDR
I will be soloing darkheart thicket(dungeons in general) / farming skin areas / boosting people thru dungeons, whats the ilvl + leech to do it in a reasonable time ?

Does speed stack infinitely and if yes, is it worth to stack as much as possible for quicker runs or it just doesnt add to much better timings ?

Thanks, this is my first post, happy to have found this forum

I would recommend at least 15% leech, the more the better. Let's leave it like this; the more leech, the more mistakes you can make and the less attention you'd have to pay to your pulls.

yes it was you ! really amazing stuff ! maybe i cant do it as fast as you but i think i will be able to do it, saw a guy selling runs with 500-600 leech only he said you just have to be more careful

With DHT, i run so fast (engineering belt nitro booster + bear tartare + legendary) that i just run all the mobs in the first pull to the first boss and nuke it down in 1 go. I have stopwatch time clearing DHT in 6:16 and i dont even use a legendary cos i leveled my artifact guardin before i knew i was atwink... (866 boomkin 15% leech)

You'll be fine with 10% leech, I get away with it pretty easily on my main Boomkin.
My second Boomkin does just fine for staying alive (as backup) with no leech when multi-boxing both.
-This can be fooling since the more DPS you start doing the more beneficial Leech will be, so finish gearing before deciding for more.

From my testing with speed items it is worth it to get at least 1 piece as the first one provides like 8% while any after only offer 2% or less, you can also gain speed with Bear Tartare, Legendary Boots, Cloak Enchant, Feral Enhancement.

DHT can be done extremely fast since you can skip the first 3 bosses, just have your Lunar Strike procs ready for the Owl's and nuke them whenever you have to pull them, they will be the only issue of the dungeon.

A nice trick I learned from twinking my boomkin is if you go into the settings you can have it always show Nameplates & make them large(extremely helpful for farming Nesingway Goats, Stormheim Bears), from there make a simple /target mouseover /use moonfire marco, then bind it and sunfire to your scroll wheel and just run through whatever you like scrolling (usually MF tag and SF after last mob pulled, unless party aggro). The only other binds I'd reccomend is R, F & two side buttons on the mouse, from there you can bind Lunar Strike & Starsurge, Starfall & Solar Wrath.
(Can also go with /use [@mouseover] Moonfire, which will hit the mouseover without actually targeting it).

I rarely find myself needing more than that aside from Silencing with birds in DHT & bursting on Bosses (macro it in to MF when farming, also make a macro for Lunar Strike to use instant procs when ready).

You don't really need to bother with Avoidance pieces, prefer Gem/Leech/iLvl over them.
Also I wouldn't spend the gold on a second 840+ trinket, go for the 725 Prophecy Tarot until you get a Kazzak or HFC upgrade.

I find stacking haste to be most helpful as Boomkin as it allows for a shorter GCD which allows for quicker tagging, believe it also speeds up DoT damage from MF/SF, after that I find a little bit of Vers to be helpful such as a single ring & then I throw the rest into either Critical Strike or Mastery (Without Artifact Weapon I've been leaning towards Critical Strike).

Hope this info has helped you out on starting your Boomy!
