EU+US "Farming" Relics - is it possible?

Hi guys,

I understand the BoE's are best being obtained on max level characters, in order to scale better. Of course, you can't farm a world drop BoE epic, in reality, however, i did find a spot where i got about 10 green BoE relics within a short period of time.

This led me to think whether or not some relics can actually be farmed? I never had time yet to go there on my main to try, but can see how it will turn out in the coming days.

For my Demon Hunter, i'm mainly looking for the Crystalised Blood and the Ettin bone fragment. Killing 110 elite Ettins in Highmountain at 920ilvl takes considerable effort. Similarly for the Blood, it seems to be world drop in Suramar, for particular mobs, most of which again, are elites.

So, is it worth spending the time to try to get them ourselves, or wait and check the AH every day to see if it's up there? I imaging with greens, nobody really cares to check them for the ilvl and equip level, unless they're also know why they are desireable.

I have some crazy luck / bad luck that my main always gets relics, but i've never really payed attention to the greens and threw them away.

It's also still unknown whether they really can be obtained in the Leystone Lockbox or not AAAND there are none available on my realm - ever.

Any ideas how to get our hands on these 110 relics? Of course, there are only 2 per class that are useable.
 
The 101 +32 relics can't be obtained in the game anymore. It was a bug that they existed. So you can only buy the rest from people who still have some.

Wow, not only are you confident they don't drop anymore even though we have no proof other than the word of 1 gm, but your also immediately turning him to purchase it. People like you make me sick. Also it wouldn't surprise me if you sell these things and your just hoping he buys up one of yours.

What's wrong with you? I got the same response from a GM than the other one. And no one has had a drop since, guess why? I know that you like to be "different" but keep it clean. Thanks.

Just because no one has gotten a drop in a while and a few GMs are telling people what they want to hear, doesn't mean they don't drop anymore. If you thought there was no one left on earth, how long before you fk a monkey?
(Aka: how long before you just say eff it and buy a 2 million gold Relic)

Let's just assume there is a very very slim chance and i shouldn't actively go searching or out of my way :p
 
Guys I feel sick!

On a side note Veechard always reacts like that. About 2 months ago I told some random 101 item seller with 0 experience that if he wants to sell the item in a reasonable time frame he probably has to settle for half his asking price and Veechard (re)acted as if I held the dude at gun point and forced him to sell the item for cheap.

Honestly if you have the gold to blow, and your on a high pop realm, just mass buy lock boxes. It's believed if a lockbox dropped before the supposed removal, the loot contents will be that of when it dropped and can possibly contain 810 Relic. Even though they have appranetly been removed says everyone. Even though this community makes up prolly 1% of all boxes opened and reported here.

Not trying to cause a fight but Perfrction, you don't know for sure if they have 100% been removed so how can you start making suggestions on him to drop millions. Honestly?
 
Well, at this point, if the relics still drop, it's such a rare occurrence, that it's actually easier and faster to get, say, 2M gold, than it is to get a relic (let alone the specific relic you want)...
 
I have 3 lockboxes, awaiting a rogue :oops:

My realm doesn't have any on trade or auction house, nor are there any over expensive, overpriced ones on AH. RIP:eek::confused:

Resorting to begging people to check their alts and old characters :D

I got a 713 relic, which was a +3 upgrade on my 710, but both only give +7 ilevels, so actually was a downgrade haha.

I think it's safe to assume that they no longer drop. Of course it's not 100%, but I think maybe you might be maybe a little bit slightly overreacting.

You gotta play devils advocate or when someone gets one to drop I'll be being told, I told you so.

High chance no one has gotten one. This community is slowly dieing so yea, low chance someone will find one even if they DO still drop
