Ben Shapiro On the JRE

Irrelevent, but.. His views on abortion are skewed. For that I don't care to listen to him. Left a bad taste when I heard him for the first time. Smart guy, but he's somewhat pretentious when he argues. I like to listen to the likes of Sam Harris and such. He seems more rational.
You might find your views on abortion change when you have kids.

And yea this podcast owns.

Nah Im pretty grounded in my views. I try not to let sentiment cloud judgement.

I myself have not had a kid, but I understand the emotional package it comes with, as I am very close to my sister who has just had a kid.

It goes without saying that had my mother not gotten an abortion during a rough period in her life, with someone she knew she didn't want to share a kid with, she may not have ever considered conceiving me further on and likely would have missed out on a chunk of her youth.

When a woman gets an abortion, it suddenly makes her a criminal and/or someone who despises having kids? No, it usually just means they aren't ready for a kid and the odds are stacked against them. For most, the ability to concieve stays relatively intact for a large portion of their early lives. Once she is in a comfortable financial and emotional situation, they are within their own decision to then start parenthood.

Abortion is sometimes used for avoiding parenthood, while other times it's simply a means of waiting until the time is right.

The bluebird may nest up to four broods annually. Would you criticize it for only nesting 3 times?

She had options, adoption. Plus, be smarter, if it's not time to have a kid don't be messing around. But w/e not going to debate about your Mom.

Its pretty nuts to see the baby have hiccups like 5 months in and do the EXACT same thing when they are born and to think that well 1 is a baby and 1 isn't, ludicrous.

I oppose late trimester abortions. That is far too in to go back imo. That's like debating whether or not you should have put something in the oven long after it's cooked. The large majority of us value it as a human with rights that far in.

Besides, as a parent, adoption is usually worse since you subject a kid to a life beyond your control, as well as them never knowing the love of their real parents.

Oh boy it's gonna be nasty if the kid survives multiple abortion attempts
