EU+US Mercaeder - 70 Twink Rogue Montage

I see you went for the montage style of play and editing, which you nailed perfect! Personally I like the full visual and more emphasis on showcasing, but you hit what you aimed for, and rest is personal preference. Good video all things considered!

Thanks mate ^>^ Appreciate the love and support <3

I guess the bar isn't set that high for most players but Imo this was in no way worth a video.

The clips were boring. Nothing exciting happened at any point. Every clip is the same: You open with cheap shot, do damage, kidney shot half (that's not good btw, it's a huge mistake) and do some more damage while your opponent backpeddles in circles.

This shows especially in the Arena clips, where you're not even doing anything with your teammate, you're just spamming damage into the same extremely bad opponent all game. You even stood there attacking into BoP for what was at least 4 seconds before you realized you should probably just go for a restealth.

Why is every clip zoomed in like that? You're not highlighting anything with it, it's just zoomed in with no apparent reason. Same with the filter, it doesn't seem to serve any purpose.

And I think the music choice was poor. I don't even mind the genre of music, I just think it's stupid to use this type of music for a WoW PvP video.

I thought the new forum guidelines were put in place to encourage new users and make this a place where people could feel comfortable.
Some posts here are just making fun of an individual and not providing any feed back or improvement suggestions.
Although subtle it still looks like toxic behavior to me and not a very welcoming environment for new tinks.

What Fx said was at least constructive and I agree with him about the gameplay, I don't like the filters and some zooms were confusing. I still think it was a good attempt at editing and that feedback can at least provide motivation for improvement rather than just unnecessary discouragement for anyone considering posting at all....

very well said

*This is my opinion, take it how you want*

I'm gonna tell you what I told gucci, the videos would be 100x more entertaining if legion didn't shit on twinks. More in depth, there's 2 styles of twink videos (imo). You've got the skillful outplaying video, where you dedicate that video to key moves you do to outplay the enemy player (Ie. You sap someone then they trinket, and you insta-sap their trinket and kill their partner). Or there's the "WOAH BIG MONGO CRIT OMGOMGOMG" video. Where's all you do is show mongo sized crits lined up with mongo sized songs lol. In this video it seems like you kinda tried to do some of both (i think), but in legion you can only really have a decent twink video if you're outplaying someone, mongo numbers are kinda not there anymore. (Not as entertaining to watch).

I remember when I made my SUPER laggy cringe videos, I got TONS of views just because I had big crits in them with like, NCS music that had big drops. I think now a days people look for "woah that was a really good play", and maybe include what you're doing at what time. Like say you just step kicked a CRUCIAL heal then ended the game, and someone maybe not as skilled doesn't really understand what that play did, you could put captions somewhere in the video as you're in that match. A good example of that is this montage;

Or another thing you can do to make a montage juice, even if you don't exactly have the most skill in the world, you can make a really interesting montage with very good edits and 1vx's. It's kinda hard to do 1v2s+ in legion considering they made almost everyone's stats equal, and most people know that. So a good way to get people's attention is with some good ol' 1vx's. Of course try to snipe for these clips. People do twink premades ALL the time in bgs, so try to find some more known players (or even randoms it doesnt very well matter), and give it your best shot to 1v2/3/4 them. A good example of that is this montage;

There's a ton of ways to make a montage stand out, these ways have been used in many montages throughout the years and are still very interesting to this day. (Keep in mind when I mentioned the 1vX's, keep them inside of a stat-balanced bg, anyone can 1v5+ in full twink gear against levelers, and thats boring to watch).

Most of the people posting are high egoed. Personally just make videos for entertainment. I main druids, so. Clearly I'm not going to be up to par with some of these kids expectations lol. But ive been a content producer for years, you learn to EleGiggle some responses and move on. Doesn't phase me at all tbh, so you're good :)

zoom in isnt meant to highlight anything, many montages are made like this. And why does the, "filter" matter? a custom CC is better over any raw WoW colored clip, but i mean .. Oh well lol
