The eternal irony is: Most people know damn well the shit that's rolling out of Washington, the problem is they just don't care enough to do anything about it. There's a new iPhone to buy, a new GoT Season to watch, more Dancing with the Stars people to Vote for, etc.

Mainstream Media, at the behest of gigantic Corporations, who own our Govt and various Govt's around the World, are extraordinarily good at manipulating Humans for their benefit. Waking up isn't the issue, the willingness to make a change knowing it'll cause you personal hardship for a short > long time afterwards, that's the seemingly insurmountable obstacle we face in this time.

We are already involved with WW3, only it's not Nation against Nation this time around but instead it's those few in Power against the rest of Humanity.

wow LOL this is such a basement post

Zbigniew Brzezinski was simply a patriot of his own country (Poland) all his life even if it meant having dual loyalty and using another country to fight for his country's cause. He stopped communism and the ussr went kaput ofc. Goog riddance,
nothing more nothing less

he should be a role model all over the world on how to deal with aggressive imperialistic minded nations instead of randomly taking up arms against them ...all for what ? just to basically die for nothing which is retarded and useless

If you dont know what communism was in the 20s,30,40s and 50s plz dont post....just plz. Communism is basically like ISIS but 1000x worse. (isis killed like what, 2000 ppl 3 years? communists were killing that much hourly)

Who cares to learn what's going on in the world around us, take time to sit down, read, learn - educate themselves in their surroundings and dedicate time to stand up and fight for a better world, when it's so much easier to log into WoW and do skirmishes.

lol

How tf did you draw the conclusion that a political/economic ideology is even remotely comparable to a terrorist organization

You don't need to agree on the concepts of communism but it doesn't mean it's ISIS lmfao

Imo there's about as much wrong with capitalism as there is with communism: The people running the show.

The proletariat will overthrow the bourgeoisie swine only when the veil of comfort in our lives is lifted and exposes the death of our freedoms and constitutional rights.

Depends what he means specifically. Marxism has killed WAY more people than terrorism has yet to even be close to achieving. It even killed more people than Nazism. Look at Stalin, Mao, Castro etc. etc. History really does repeat itself with this ideology. It's a utopic ideology that's going to falter at the very core. Look up any history book that touches the matter, or look up Jordan Peterson.

Every time Marxism comes around it's in the mindset of "Oh, but if I was the leader, it will be different" or "They just did it wrong". History literally doesn't lie on this subject, and we should learn from that.

A wise man once said, that the definition of insanity is attempting the same thing over and over, expecting a different outcome (I believe it was Einstein), and yes, I know that it's in a more scientific approach when it comes to this quote, but I truely believe the quote still fits on this matter.

Marxism/Communism is a disease :/

I would argue that the ultimate disease is Capitalism.

Capitalism has its issues, sure. But it's nowhere near as destructive as communism, not even close. It might not be a flawless system, but hey, it works so far.

I'm far more of a fan of socialism with some pick and choose from other political views. But yeah, mainly socialism.

We should actually be very pleased with how the west has been developing, and how the system works in general. I'm not saying we shouldn't look inwards and continue to better our system, but it sure as hell isn't as bad as communism and history has shown that.

I also steer (mostly) Socialism, but as with any Ideology nothing is perfect, and Human Greed tends to ruin it all. Capitalism only "works" in the respect that the Ponzi scheme that is Modern Capitalism hasn't completely collapsed... yet. It requires infinite resources to produce infinite products to cause infinite spending. However, we all know there is no such thing as infinite resources and when harsh Political views cause the reduction of Productivity that in turn reduces Spending power the wheel will eventually stop turning.

Capitalism may work for a time but it cannot be sustained indefinitely. The hardships that it causes are almost incalculable. Just counting Merica, how many Citizens have lost everything, including some their lives, due the the Housing crash that was caused by the Banking and Financial System, who didn't even get so much as a slap on the wrist from our Govt? Do we even know how many thousands of Veterans live on the street, are drug addicts, etc, due to the lack of care/support they receive after returning from a War they didn't want to perpetuate a Capitalist "Democracy". What about the MILLIONS of Human beings literally dying due to the shit show that is our for profit "Health Care" system. Or I could bring up Flint, MI (among MANY Municipalities across the Nation) that purposely poison their Citizens to save a buck.

Obviously I could go on, but I'm sure you understand the point.

EDIT: Please don't think I'm defending Communism, just giving my thoughts as to why I think Capitalism isn't given the harsh tone it truly deserves.

@DeLindsay Corruption and greed, the human nature.

Some of the perceived least corrupt countries in the world; Denmark, New Zealand, Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, Singapore, Netherlands, Canada, Germany

Most of not all of them running very Socialistic policies. To many Americans, it would be perceived as 'Communism', which it's far from. It has shown to work, and it produces some of the happiest nations in the world.

But will it work on a larger scale? Is there enough wealth in the world to even support welfare on a larger scale? And even if there was, how would you stop some of the most corrupted and most powerful people in the world; with their wealth; from achieving such goal?

To me, capitalism mostly is as bad as communism - it's just more hidden. Something like 1% of the worlds population holds 50% of the riches in the world. Everything is so skewed.

It's a rough battle between equality; and getting what you work for. I personally like the idea of effort giving benefits. Also I like the idea of making sure no one is dropped on the ground. That everyone has a safety net to make the best of their lives.

A decent middle ground between capitalism and communism (at their core values, not what nations have managed to do with the ideologies).

Yeah, no doubt, 'Murica is fucked xdddd, but at least you're still well off, all things considered. Take the entire population of the earth (really think about this). Then you will find yourself in the top 1%. What people fail to uderstand is that when the term "the top 1%" is mentioned, they actually mean the top 1% of the already top 1%.
