EU+US A one stop shop?

I'll help with this sometime. Just pm me or something to remind me.

Why do bosses now tho, you won't get any loot am I right?
@aislingyngaio
All four that I mentioned - Galleon, Oondasta, Timeless Celestials, and Kazzak - do in fact still drop loot for low levels, given they drop straight into our bags instead of being looted from the corpse.

Hey bb.

But doesn't Oondasta (for example) drop purely level 90 gear as loot?

You're forgetting the loser's gold box, which is a great help if you're looking to get the achievements http://www.wowhead.com/achievement=1181/got-my-mind-on-my-money http://www.wowhead.com/achievement=9487 . I once also got a book from the Oondasta crap that's part of http://www.wowhead.com/achievement=8212 , which, although it has something like a 1% drop rate chance, is now probably the only way any twink is going to even have a chance of getting this achievement done. According to WoWhead, all the loser's boxes also has a minuscule chance of dropping an Argent tourney pet, which is the main reason I'm farming em. It could all be hullabaloo, but eh it's just one day every week.

As for Kazzak... http://www.wowhead.com/achievement=9265

bulk of the process is honestly just getting the flight paths. after that, its just a matter of flying there and camping em until high levels feel like killing them XD good thing oondasta and galleon respawn timer is now 15m instead of the old 1 - 2 hours. kazzak is a bit more difficult as not many people actually camp it (due to no mount drop).

Alright, folks. My crazy holiday schedule has passed. Time to get crackin on this. I'd like to have a preliminary draft up by the end of the week but I need a couple things.

1. A basic travel guide for the expansion continents. I havent played end game since BC, so while I can put together one for Outland, I have no idea how to get around the other continents. Especially as a 20. What Im imagining here is simple. Just a picture of the continent map with some MS paint lines pointing out where the passes between zones are and major flight points a F2P would want.

2. A sort of "beginners guide" to achievement hunting. The easy ones, stuff a new 20 might want to do. @Crystalpall do you mind?

3. Currency breakdown. What currencies can we get? How do we get them? What notables can we buy with them?

I found time to sketch up a quick rough draft of an old-world travel guide for twinks post-MoP:

1) Find a level 90+ mage to summon a portal to the Vale of Eternal Blossoms
2) Find the innkeeper and set your hearth there
3) Teleport to the vanilla capital cities, plus Shattrath and Dalaran whenever you want (on CD)

Alright, I lied. My crazy work schedule lasted a little longer than possible. But I finally got a VERY rough draft up. This will, I hope, give you guys an idea as to formatting and style.

I would GREATLY appreciate any and all critiques related to everything from content and accuracy of information, to formatting and headings. Any subject areas I need to cover? Any I need to flesh out? Any I need to reduce or revisit for readability?

Things I know that need to be done are:
links to gear
travel from timeless isle to draenor video link
beginning achievement hunting
The travel section needs zone maps
etc.

Are you also Chops the panda from AP

I think showing a list of titles/mounts that F2Ps are able to get might be a good idea. Just to show exactly what kind of things they can achieve on a mere level 20 F2P. I remember when I realized that I could get the Ambassador on my F2P I dropped everything and just farmed dungeons to get rep.

Overall it looks pretty good so far! Thanks for taking the time to write all of this up, if I could be of any help just let me know. Although I am out of the loop on the pve side of F2P.

Yah, there's a whole other side to the PvP - class roles, basic strategies for each BG (even arena), voice comms, etc. TI had many such guides, so I will look for some links.

As "pure" F2P, without guilds, it would also be great to have a list of Btags based on server (with a brief description of server strengths/weaks). I would even love to see a few experienced F2Pers volunteer to be a server "coach." I could sure use help finding my way to all of these xpac zones that Aisling...inj..eeyow keeps talking about, and I'd love an arena coach! In the meantime I am happy to help a few people hone their class skills and succeed in BGs (unless for some strange reason they did not choose Surv huntard, in which case they should quit ;).

I don't know much, but i'm willing to share... and i hug alot. Yak#1964 (druid on a server near you)

We'll need everyone's input for the travel maps.

For example, slogging your way in corpse runs through the Borean Tundra is painful, but you can actually go from Vengeance Landing-->New Agamand-->Kamagua WITHOUT DYING (maybe you'll die once waiting on the damn elevator) on a mount, and the same applies for Valgarde-->Westguard Keep-->Kamagua (take the zeppelin and jump off above Kamagua). If you arrive in the Borean Tundra at Unu'pe, it makes access to the rest of the continent much easier without having to actually run through the mob-dense zone.

---

Also, I'm sure people know this, but the trick to getting into the Storm Peaks to Camp Tunka'lo (Frosthold is unaccessible) is to jump off of Zul'drak, swim to the north coast of the Storm Peaks, and drown yourself. Then you can resurrect up above.

---

I'm sure other people have plenty of travel tips too - I would be interested to hear about getting to some of the more remote Pandaren areas.
