EU+US Legion 10 day trial

Much much faster just to PvP. I don't know if it what you are rewarded is based on on your ilvl or not. My toon is a modest 851 and with wins in random BGs I am regularly rewarded with 835 ilvl gear upgraded to 840-845.
In a matter of weeks you will be gaining thousands of artifact power at a time. I just got a token worth over 9,000. And mind you I only play a few hours a week and some of that is on my lowbies. Artifact power will come in time.
this being a legion 10 day trial thread, does pvp at level 100 or below give artifact power? and we wont have weeks to get those things, just 10 days. if it ever becomes available

Unless you have access to Legion content you do not have access to class halls. I do not recall what level I got access because I have no one interest in high level PvP/PvE other than endgame.
The honor talents do not become active until level 110. The token I spoke of was one of the awards I got when I reached a certain honor level. It was also magnified by my artifact level.

As for the free 10 days, if that ever happens.
Just need enough time to get 40-44k gold though. Questing will get close you to that. If you save/sell everything you can purchase a game token. That will give you another 30 day and from there on out it is smooth sailing! Playing the game virtually allows for you to pay for the game if you do it efficiently.

More than likely Blizzard may offer Trials a 10 day "free" all access period. Considering what other people have noted above.
i already have enough gold for a few months worth of wowtokens. i dont have legion (im not buying it, dont need to convince me) so the only way to get artifacts and the ilvl 800 quest rewards would be from a legion trial

[...]

I'm actually hanging out for a bit of a sticky beak at Legion. Maybe we need a guide for what to do and what to get in Legion in 10 days for Vets! ;)
Good idea

WoD also launched in...october? I think? And had poor numbers.

That's also right around the timeframe I'm saying they WILL have one: for Xmas time (end of November to December).

Did you even read what I wrote? Or is the autism too bad even for that?

I fucking hate autists. I want to build a wall between them and me, a big wall. And I'm gonna make autism pay for it. #maketwinkinfogreatagain

So, no 10-day xpac full account trials every 3 months anymore? I knew this would end one day and Blizzard would cut this spree. Hm, so i think i will stick with my trial f2p account and won't pay 5$ to upgrade to full account lol

all my efforts of leveling 8 accounts to level 100 would be wasted if no legion trial. goodbye plans to cycle through them using the trial, and by the time the 8th one ends, the 1st one would nearly be available again
LoL, Monster Fail, imagine if everybody does this, Blizzard profits must have been falling because of this. That's why they are cutting this 10-day trial feast. I knew people would abuse it and then the cut of this thing would happen, it was blatlantly obvious.

makes sense. though i would have preferred if they didnt give out free codes but still gave out 10 day trials

Pretty sure lack of content made their stock fall in cata then the same in wod yet they still provide the same lack of content every now and then. Don't give up Hope just yet!!!

Still no sign of a 10 day trial.......:(

We're almost at Patch 7.1.5..........

Are trials a thing of the past? F2P is now the only form of trial which doesn't really help those that want to try Legion before they buy.........(or those that don't want it but want to play it - lol) :p

Lol I was hoping you were gonna say you just got a 10 day trial. Ima miss them free resetting trials though I always felt that they didn't work as intended.

Holy shit! Holy shit! Holy shit!!!

HOLY SHIT!!! :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

*SPOILER*

No, really nothing. Only a "holy shit" spam

Beside I just realized another reason why there's not going to be Legion 10 day trial: during a trial period one can quest in any zone designed for last level of previous expansion (eg it was lvl90 for WoD, it should be lvl100 for Legion).

Now look how Broken Isles questing was made. One can quest in any zone at level 100. It's quests, monsters, and requirements that scale to proper level.

By absurd reasoning one can achieve Loremaster of Broken Isle during a 10 day Legion trial. Don't think Blizz will ever allow us to achieve that much without buying the game. o_O

For loremaster you need to do Suramar (which is for 110s) and kill Xavius but yeah... there would still be more content than with the previous trials. :p

Yep, no reason you couldn't do most of the expansion's content in ten days, if you're not a raider.

The rules for retail marketing are changing, e.g. no one cares about black Friday sales anymore, big sales are more of a year round thing now, and people have been desensitized to them. I wouldn't hold your breath for a trial this time, I think they might be changing it up. But who knows, maybe they'll pull it out post-Christmas.

I think it was just too much to assume that they would stick with the same business strategy forever. That being said, RIP my free 10 days.

blizzard employee #1: what if we made level 100s able to quest in all the legion zones?
blizzard employee #2: people using the 10 day trial would get way too much content.
blizzard employee #1: take out the 10 day trial.
blizzard employee #2: done

it's more like

player base #1: regions where to quest and level up are way too crowded at release
player base #2: progress through always same regions to level up alts is boring as hell
player base #3: leveling is boring
blizzard team #1: let mobs and quests scale to player level in any progress zones to make player base happy
blizzard team #2: can we release 10 day legion trial?
blizzard team #1: no if you don't want to give away most of legion content for free

edit:

forgot
blizzard team #2: done

I actually think it's more to do with the Artefact Weapon. In the 10 days you could get the Artefact Weapon and then use it even without Legion provided you were sub'd up. Granted you probably couldn't level it up but every 10 day trial you could gain some AP on it.

I wonder if you could also make a Demon Hunter then play it at lvl 100 after the 10 day trial ended, again if you were sub'd up?

We may never find out :(
