EU+US Best 20 class? Best 29 class?

Really depends on what you want to play. Do you prefer melee, caster or ranged/caster? Do you prefer heals or DPS? I think the answer to your question is a relative one depending on your preferences.
What I can tell you from my experiences so far in PvP is Boomies are damn nasty with DoTs and Loc's can drain life from a long distance and just won't die
But narrow down your preferences and I'm sure we can answer this for you :)

I like resto shaman for both 20 and 29. Can take a lot of damage and can heal a lot of damage. Great mobility too!

No knowledge of 29's.

Level 20's
Melee: Arms Warrior (Overpower), Surv Hunter, Outlaw Rogue, Ret Pally
Ranged: Affliction Lock (Haunt) , Boomkin, BM Hunter
Healer: Disc Priest

No one is gonna mention arcane/fire mages for caster damage, i cant woop any lvl 20 on my mage and its only 19, and ik i said 19 but i could imagine at 20 they would be no difference.

top tier, based on what i see on charts (list is not a inorder list) with no carry reliance on mini-mades, premades. top solo que classes

aff-locks
disco
o-rogue
feral
bal druid

fire mages - are there on rare occasions, very few though, what is surprising to see is a fire mage behind disco, locks, res-shams in healing. went thru a quick bg, and f-mage showed 22K healing, another bg another f-mage had 17K. i was rather puzzled, i went to wowhead to see their talents, passives etc.....not sure?

MW - was in a BG and this MW was a freaking terror, soloed a disco priest....the disco said like WTF in BG chat with some QQ along the lines when did a MW become so OP, but MW are rarely spec'd into

i have a BM hunter in bracket, i went 1 vs 1 against a aff-lock who i opened on first, had 2 pets on him, he turned, 1 dot, 2 dot, used healthstone, and then LD his HP went to full, and i dropped like a rock. if my BM is on the better supported team or premade i can rack up serious dmg. but drop like a rock to near every top tier class. imo, no spec hunter is top tier in bracket

That mage may have been mine, Draenei gift of the naaru is the main source of the healing.

Rot damage can be crucial in a group fight. getting eaten away by affliction locks, boomkin and shadow priests and they're spreading their STD's all over the place? makes healing a pain.

so Dot classes are definitely up there.

Thank goodness this is happening to others. I thought I was the only one being embarrassed by Locks. BM used to destroy Locks but now they are so tough against other ranged classes it's not funny.

Band-Aids count as healing done, BTW. So do lock stones if the mage picked one up. Also PW:S absorbs count as healing done so I would assume ice barrier does as well- any basically any non healing class should have at least some healing done at the end of a BG, even if just band aiding in between combat
