US Making a f2p twink?

Hey guys. This is my first post on this forums. xD Anyway, I haven't played WoW in 8 months, and I decided to come back for Legion. Except I'm gonna make a f2p twink. I don't wanna buy the game. Can someone catch me up on everything? Like I heard something about f2p's getting some sort of invasion gear? Plus I don't know what class is good/fun to play rn, or what realm to play. My trial acc only has like 4 heirlooms atm. Plate chest, shoulders (x2), leather shoulders, and a sword.

I've had a f2p twink before. She's a pally. I quit her cause of the lack of players on my realm, and the hour long que's. Link: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/cenarius/Finestpally/simple

I've also had a feral twink. I made her on Moon Guard (big mistake..) because my friends wanted me to rp with them. Anyway... Can someone recommend me a good realm and class to play? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure Aerie Peak is still the most populated realm for f2ps, but I haven't been as active lately so not so sure.
Also every class is pretty much viable at the moment so just play whichever you're most comfortable with I guess?
As for your heirlooms don't worry about it too much, they aren't nearly as good as they used to be in battlegrounds/arenas.
There are a lot of guides right now on Xpoff about the Invasion stuff so you can just read up about it using those.

Hunter, rogue, druid, mage, warlock fun solid choices. go with what you like most.
as for invasions: just lvl to 10, get to invasion zone. once it is done u get boxes. dont open those untill you level 20.
