why do you recommend? is there a reason to make new tinks and not use my current 19s and just lvl to 20

So I'm going to have to get my toons too 20... before my time runs out then lock my xp bar so I can play f2p

im recently going to try f2p after my sub is out I'm wondering how is works I want replys or tips and info about what should I do before my time runs out am I able to lock my xp bar at 19 instead of 20 cause my tinks are already bis gear and chants I really don't want to go to 20...
