Obsolete information. Stat food, elixirs and scrolls are now disabled. No chants, no buffs, template only. First aid is still useful, but for 20-29 bg's I can't think of any other profession worth leveling unless you just enjoy leveling it.

I'd bet that the consumables (stat food, elixirs, scrolls) are working as intended. Here's hoping that novelty items like wands and jack o lanterns were mistakenly disabled like the pvp only items were. No buffs or enchants makes sense considering, but why prevent me from turning teammates...

No. Gear matters very little other than transmogging. BG's are becoming even more template based with 7.1 (once the bugs are fixed). They've made stat food and scrolls useless also. It's just fill every slot with appropriate class gear and play. Twinking is no longer a thing.

I'm actually enjoying the changes to destro warlock. For play style, it's much more interesting (I've found chaos bolt to be a better spell than some seem to think). It's tough to say what's nerfed before the bugs get fixed.
