Can white quest rewards in the 1-5 and 6-10 starting areas proc an upgrade to green, blue, or epic? I know green quest rewards can go epic — had it happen in Westfall on my Druid.

I know race is largely unimportant, but some racials do offer perks that lend better to certain classes. I’m torn between Night Elf for Shadowmeld and increased speed while stealthed, Dwarf Stoneform for clearing debuffs for re-stealthing and the modest defense boost, Pandaren for Quaking Palm...

Haha, of course I’d rather have the person playing the strong(er) spec, all else equal. My point was that playing objectives, targeting/cc’ing/interrupting enemy healers, peeling for your own healers, etc. on an average tier spec is way more effective than having worthless teammates playing...

People definitely sleep on MW — partially because they’re not overplayed in the first place and, moreso, probably because it has a bit of a higher skill ceiling than other specs i.e. It’s not brainless. At the end of the day, I’ll take a competent teammate working toward objectives and playing...

That’s fair enough — I was assuming the numbered list meant ranked 1-5, but that’s my assumption and possibly not what was intended. I still think it’s a bit of a stretch, but I’m currently leveling a Shaman strictly to give Elemental a go, so perhaps it’ll change my mind.

Balance Marks Fury Arcane rShaman/rDruid Outlaw is incredible disruption and CC, but serves as more of an annoyance and stalls until big DPS can make kills... still love the spec though — it’s one of those specs whose utility shines the best when grouped with great DPS that can act accordingly...
