You should try BH on NA then if you think that’s bad. Socket + speed/leech jewelry can and frequently does go for double that. Its shameful how 20s treat other 20s.

Actually, the last part of this is kind of the argument. There is gear that vets have that is not available to f2p. The legion ilvl 28 gear is not attainable by a f2p. Prior to this expansion, there were lots of professions/enchants that weren’t available either. Now, SL has made that gap...

Silithus has a recipe, Smoked Desert Dumplings, that provides +6 strength and is rewarded from a quest. It’s not as good as noodle cart or marks of honor food, but it’s very easy to obtain and farm a few stacks for f2p or solo accounts.

There are several helms from the upper level WotLK dungeons that have non-squished stat bonuses.

I know for a fact you can get them on 29s. I’ve done it on both a horde and an alliance in the past few months. I can’t speak for lower than that.
