It's unfortunate that you had to change the format, but obviously that was out of your hands. I do have a few concerns though:

1. What if several teams has the same win/loss ratio? What determines who is 1st, 2nd 3rd?

2. Sudden death...? Couldn't you make it first to cap a flag instead of first to get a kill? It's

In answer to number 1, it is explained there already

In answer to number 2, the reason it is first kill so that people cannot strategize around playing for a draw. The idea of the first player dies, loses, is to make people under no circumstance want it to get to that stage and thus preventing ties in the first place. As any team can beat any team if it is first player to die loses, whereas first cap may be more advantageous to certain teams.

I'm sorry but it is not explained. What if 3 teams have same win/loss ratio, and they all beat each other, then what determines who is 1st etc?

And alright, I guess it's your call to make. But why would anyone play for a draw, unless seeding is a thing, as last year (SR vs GSC)? Couldn't a draw just mean one more game of sudden death?

You can obviously do a football (soccer) style format, where its the total cap difference that matter first (i.e. if you have capped 10 flags overall and been capped on 8 times, your cap difference is +2), and if that is equal as well, it will be total flags captured that matters, but then if that is the same for just 2 of the teams as well, then what?

In football this is where the team rankings come in (the highest ranked team wins) but how are you gonna deal with this?

On a side note, could my team (GSC A Team) be granted maybe a 30min break between our 2 games on sunday? We're playing We Cute at 12PM and then SR again at 1PM.

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

Due to another team dropping out of this years Twink Cup there has been a further change to the schedule and also the FORMAT of the tournament. The reasons for this is because with only SIX teams participating in the Warsong section of the tournament the
Double Elimination format no longer works due to a lack of teams. Instead, we will be using a Round Robin format with a Semi Finals and a Finals implemented as a custom.

CHANGES:

The platform that we will be using to organize and manage the competing teams in the Warsong section of the tournament will be
Challonge(link).

The tournament will be using a Round Robin format(link).

Within this format, each team will be facing off against every other team participating in the tournament ONCE until the Semi Finals and the Finals.

Once all teams have faced each other ONCE the total wins and total loses will be calculated and the teams with the better win to loss ratios will be ranked higher on the scoreboard.

In the case of more than one team having the same amount of wins to losses, the way that the rankings on the leader board will be deciphered will be by referring back to when the teams in question fought against each other and whichever team emerged victorious in that series will be the team ranked in the higher position.

Once the leader board has been finalized there will be a Semi Finals and a Finals to follow. The two teams that are ranked in Second and Third position on the leader board will face off for a second time in a Best of FIVE series and the victor will go head to head in the finals against the team that is ranked FIRST on the leader board. The finals will be a Best of SEVEN with NO advantage to the team who is ranked first on the leader board.

General Rules

In the case of a tie game for a series the game will be replayed to give each team a second change of emerging victorious. In the event that there is TWO tied games in a row, to determine who will win the series will go into a THIRD game of SUDDEN DEATH. The rules of sudden death is, first team to score a kill on the enemy team, wins. In the case that this happens both teams will have to remain to play the same team composition as they have done in the previous game.

Lmao the sudden death idea is the dimmest shit I've ever read. I'm losing more and more faith in the committees judging skills.

me and the committee have already sat down together and discussed this matter and unfortunately we are unable to grant you your request at this time

sorry for any inconvenience

Flag caps shouldn't be used to measure who should win. You'd make base to base strats impossible to use.

Havnt been bothered following the "Twink Cup" much this year, but in all honesty:

"The rules of sudden death is, first team to score a kill on the enemy team"

Might be the most retarded rule I have EVER seen, even if we count "Suggestions" in as well.

Was hoping goes into a semis then finals instead of 2nd and 3rd team having to battle to go against first team, feel like they are missing out on games and potential actions. Like if we are going to go for the league of legends format, might as well stick it the entire way.

Was just suggesting things, do you have any other method that could work better?

I do.

If there has been 2 ties in a row the next game will be played normally however it will not be streamed if there is no time left over in the schedule. The 2 teams will continue to play while the Stream casts the next series.

That wasn't what I was talking about. I was talking after the first games, when you've faced everyone once, and 3 teams have the same win/loss, what do you do if the 3 teams have won against each other in a "triangle"
