What are you excited for in Legion?

  • EXP on WSG's
  • Class/spec changes
  • 12 character limit increase
  • PvP gear changes...

A few of the treats I'm pumped for!

I'm really looking forward to the Warlock changes. Affliction specifically. Really hope Agony and Haunt perform well and make the class/spec competitive!

May be the wrong place for this, but I'm excited to see how the 20-29 bracket ends up. I want to see if it will be as balanced as people are thinking it will be between F2Ps and 29s.

I'm also looking forward to all the class changes, the XP - on WSGs, and of course being able to make one more twink on all my accounts on Bleeding Hollow! :D

I'm looking forward to O/D games again. Queueing a 3-man team of FC, Kiter + Healer and trying to win games like the good old days!

Also I can't wait to talk to people outwith the community! There's bound to be fresh faces who join our ranks. Can't wait :)

I'm looking forward to all of it, the initiative of individuals in the past year will persist into legion and our interest, exposure, and participation in many things will sky rocket, I think the bracket will become a far more welcoming place because of this. I also look forward to playing some other battlegrounds!

Playing AB/EotS at 3am will be a nice change.

I'm warming up to the fact I'll be playing with randoms. I really like seeing people I know... but with my sporadic schedule and knack for always solo queuing, maybe its what I needed.

Easily spec changes are the only thing that excites me. Love that certain specs are gonna have a lot more viability, such as shadow priest. Hate the pvp template shit, ruins twinks in BGs, unless the template is only in pugs, and since there will be XpOns in pugs guessing there will be a lot more premades. Just hoping that overall gear isn't useless after legiond drops, subsequently.

- Class/meta changes
- The state of 20-29, the gap between 20 and 29 hopefully gets lifted a "good" amount cus' of no enchants.
- Rivalry, premading with friends to get competitive games against other premades
=> not looking forward to play with levelers tho.
- Experimenting with different shit.

EXP on WSG's
We can do them already, nothing new and/or being exited about. You can hold flags with your unlocked xpoff tink or you can recycle tink.
Class/spec changes
You think you do but you don't.
12 character limit increase
Connected realms is the solution if you do not have enough space. This counts atleast for me and I am having all slots used on a few accounts so nothing new or being exited about. Character amount cap change would be nice though.
PvP gear changes...
Pvp gear does not change, just being taken away in instanced pvp and replaced with templates that can be tuned by Blizzard cause of conveniance and the messed up game that can not be balanced. Not even with templates. Just a way to put lesser people on the tuning part of classes and specs by flipping easy switches and taking personal tuning away from the player all for economizing costs.

Personally I hugely dislike the path they are going specially after over a decade of tinkering, all the faction and race changes done was just throwing money at them for no cause with as result the removal of oldschool tinkering fully and change it into ilvl stacking. It takes personal tuning out of the game and it leaves just 1 build left for your class and spec. They are just cutting the choices we make with tinkering and with pvp in general. It is ducking awefull specially after we got the status of supported play style and that will simply be gone by removing xpoff battlegrounds and enhancing for instanced pvp.

Only positive thing about all of this is that we can play the 10-19 bracket on a free to play leveling character with being equal to paying customers and maby on our locked experience tinks as a veteran and dust off our benched tinks in other dead brackets, hopefully. Seeing most EU's leveling brackets now, they are pretty much dead or with high average queue times. Character boosts don't do any good either for this situation nor will a new expansion pack where everyone will be busy with.

Comparing pros and cons; there are just to many cons and Blizzard taking the easy road again and ofcourse lowering costs to min/max profits.

Btw

People and Blizzard seem not to realise that players, like most in this community, will start to drive new and leveling players out again, not with overpowered gear and other enhancements but with making premade setups, simul queue 2 x 5 mans and teamspeak in a pug environment which will get bigger and bigger, more and more. It will simply make it annoying and stupid to even play unless you have a team of your own. It will be like setting RBG players lose in random battlegrounds and expect players to know the meta and adapt wich will make the tinker pros annoyed, getting toxic and will give our play style a bad name again.

Blizzard and y'all think that you want this but you really don't.

I hope it will work out for XPOff.com and may you have a lot more members comming with Legion. I just hope it won't turn into what I am predicting above and that it will work out in the long run.

Happy gimpering!

Question about the 12 character slot thing.... If we already have 50 toons on one account, can we create more in legion? Or is the max limit the same ?

I remember back in the day when a fully geared f2p could beat the shit outta a twinked out 24 just cause he had skill.

Most people didn't even know how to strafe, it became popular in cataclysm.
