im recently going to try f2p after my sub is out I'm wondering how is works I want replys or tips and info about what should I do before my time runs out am I able to lock my xp bar at 19 instead of 20 cause my tinks are already bis gear and chants I really don't want to go to 20 and have to do it all over again I have boa's on my tinks and a few pieces that arnt cause they arnt bis please reply great advice and tips for me so I know what to do before my time runs out TY to everyone that comments to help out I really need the advice and help and if you could list if I can have 16- 20 slot bags the maxed gold I'm able to have and all that stuff extra regiment slot in my personal bank if I get that on f2p ~Bangatrain~

You won't be able to keep your xp locked at 19 after your sub runs out.

edit: NVM apparently you can keep xp locked after all, but can't participate in xp-off bgs/arenas at 19 without sub

When you're f2p, you can't level past lvl 20, so you don't have to worry about locking xp. I recommend you to make new twinks for lvl 20 though...

Its going to automaticly lock your character level cap at 20 when gametime runs out.
you can enchant all your gear so that you are vet when your time runs out.
If you want to just play f2p then u wont have to worry about any enchants ect....

Not really a particular reason, besides that you obviously can't play that toon at level 19 anymore, and 20-29 sucks dick so you'd be better off making a new toon for 20 and keeping the old ones at 19, so you can play both brackets. Leveling a twink is never a good choice, and you will most likely regret it later.

Because, sometimes BiS gear at 20 isn't the same as BiS gear at 19. If you have any good GF'ed gear at 19, you'd be shooting yourself in to foot by taking that nice toon to the much inferior 20s bracket. ;D

you can keep your 19s XP locked once you turn vet, but you wont be able to queue for anything until you turn on XP
recently leveld a 19 warrior to 20 because i didnt had any vet, and its not worth

if you want have some fun on a vet account, just level a character to 5, get your boas, level a profession for greens and queue BGs once you hit 10, fast queue and not everyone is fully geared, the only problem is not having boa rings

You can keep your xp locked while running out of subs unlike mesikammen said above. So your 19 will stay 19 even without any subs. The only problem here is that instanced pug pvp doesn't work because blizzard sees this as a popular bracket to twink in. You could however do wargames but there aren't f2p 19s for that to happen. Best way to play f2p is going 20 like many others have said. I'd reroll characters, you never know if you sub again and that way you can directly start at level 19 or if blizzard makes 19s fully f2p. But that is all up to you.
