Do I level or not??

I got a 29 and ithas decent gear but I have an Ironweaver instead of Master Hunters Rifle and Ironweaver fvvked it all up.
Back when I did the quests/leveling master hunters rifle was lvl 36+ req not 29 so i went for ironweaver. And I cant get the real thing without dinking 30 Do I go 39??? Gear is hella expensive we are talking like 400g

master hunter was always ilvl 43 and never had a level requirement ????

the quest for it required lvl 36+ pre 1.5

This gun is attainable by completing all of the hunter quests in STV. You get a final quest to kill the master of all the beasts or something. There is also a bow which can be rewarded.

The main reason this gun is amazing is that it is attainable by a lvl 29 twink. And because the gun is a high lvl, a +40 friend can attach the +7 dmg scope to it.

Are you serious bro? You have a 2009 TI join date and prlly liek a BC wow join date and no idea how this game worked before?

Yes I am aware that it was obtainable post patch 1.5 , but not pre, when I made this guy.

For the clueless . Pre 1.5 quests didnt work where your first quests level req determined your last quest's level req. They all had different level reqs so I couldnt get it

Its not updating...what I actually have

Tigerstrike Mantle w/+3 agil (still BiS for 39 max agil, imo)
Cutthroat's vest of agility(perfect)
2x Tundra ring of agility( both perfect)
Razzerics
Warsong boots w/ +7 agil chant(like 30g)
deftkin belt
Forest tracker epaulets
Archers bracers of agility(perfect but emisarry cuffs be better ofc)
Triprunner dungaress
2x Outlaw sabre

My problem is ..usually after we do stuff like raiding alliance lvl 25-40 places lvl 60s show up. And lvl 29s cant handle 60s as well a 39. As a 39 you suddenly do double the dmg of a 29, can eat a 5 point cold blood evisc and survive, and Imo with a 39 hunters toolkit you can solo lvl 60s 6/9 classes as long as you dont fck up and if they are shitters( and most are ofc)

It is not that simple pre BoA. When you had a twink back then you generally only had one twink because of the expense and the time. Mostly because of the expense. Modern twinks have NO IDEA how much trouble it was to get gear in Vanilla and how expensive gear was.
400 gold is a fortune, considering most players would save their entire time leveling just to purchase riding at level 40 and then epic riding at level 60 it cost 1000 gold to train and get your mount at 60. Just to put that in perspective. Back in 2005, gold sellers were selling gold at $40/ 1 gold. Right up until tBC it has come down to $40/100gold. And mounts were BoE. Which means you spent 1000 gold per character!!
