Can you apply Agility Leg Enchant to BoP Dungeon Gear?

Shadowleather Leg Armor - Spell - World of Warcraft

This enchant says it can only be allowed to items in your inventory but does not bind the item to you when you apply it.

If I run WC and get http://www.wowhead.com/item=10410 with a level 85+, can they apply the enchant then pass the item to me?

I have tried putting the leg enchant onto Smelting Pants (9 agi 4 stam 4 crit), unfortunately it didn't work

It is possible in that ive seen quite a few rogs w angerhide on smelting pants. I was told that is glitched and that there is a very high failure rate so be prepared to use many armor kits if you find out how.

Why would a rogue try to glitch an angerhide armor kit on their pants?

This, there were a trade glitch where you had to trade the item with like 0,1sec precision. It is fixed tho
