    • No Im not new to Boomkins.
    No I didn't roll one because they're in a good spot right now.
    Yes I do need help with gearing because im new to this bracket.
    Yes I main boomkin and it IS my fave class.

    Just hit level 20.. should I stay or go to 24? And Yes I know I need to get profs.

    just roll a f2p.. it's more of a challenge and somewhat easier to gear, depending on if you want rares and such.
    or do you just wanna shit on people with 1/4th of your gear and enchants?

    There's many reasons. Better stats first of all (for casters especially), less of a time and gold sink (which is minor, but convenient nonetheless), weapon procs give you more stats the lower level you are, and if you stay out of guilds and get a proper transmog, you blend in with the F2Ps meaning you're less likely to be focused.

    I have a few P2P 20s with F2Pish looking mogs and that's the only reason why I don't get focused to oblivion.

    Choosing to rolls 20 vs 24 is a personal choice is some cases. It can depend on class and it can depend on play style. Gear scaling is way better at 20. That is why I choose level 20. Trial players should understand, this if anything. You did select the footwear I was going to suggest, That is one items that is often missed. There are a couple posts concerning elemental shaman gearing and enchants of which Balance are very similar with the exception of the heirlooms. Those links are below.

    My point is that if I go f2p im putting myself at a disadvantage.

    Oh my, someone that FINALLY understands! Why should a subscriber play to a disadvantage? Subscribers don't have the advantage, trial accounts choose to play with a disadvantage. And then bitch and moan because others do not. I am not going to lower my standards. They should be raising their standards.
    If you wanted to go FULL haste you can choose http://www.wowhead.com/item=62343/greater-inscription-of-charged-lodestone it scales to +8sp+4haste.
    It is probably not the best choice for a pauldron piece.
