There should be a Geology of Azeroth achievement. Not just collecting rocks, but finding thrust faults, plunging synclines, transgressive systems tracts...

Make it a secondary profession, a la Archaeology. You'd start by using your [Geologist's Hammer] to take samples of different units around the world. You must then use your [Hand Lens] on these unknown samples and identify them (Blackrock Mountain Basalt, Loch Modan Limestone, etc.) by completing a minigame. Finally, after taking an unreasonable number of strike and dip measurements, you're able to assemble cross-sections and create geologic quadrangle maps of Azeroth. Consumption of alcohol would also be involved somehow, because, well, it's geology.

(No one except actual geologists would enjoy this profession.)

Once upon a time a wide eyed kiby was doing its fishing dalies faithfully for his wb hat. Instead of finding goodies in the sack he found in its place <very unlucky rock> the kiby being stupid as it was, kept the rock close at all times on adventures

Tale number 2 comes next time featuring <rough stone>
