I was actually very surprised to learn that you do not have to go through Burning Steppes to get to Elwynn Falls any more if you are Alliance. Behind SW keep, you can just run up one of the hills, jump into the river/lake for the falls and you're there. Much easier than it used to be.

Very cool exploration guide. If you google any variation of 'cool places to visit in WoW' there are many forum threads and lists shown, I am not sure which ones are doable as F2P yet but would be cool to test some of them out if you get a chance or need more ideas.

Didnt use p2P for any of these but some are only doable as goblin or demo lock and those are in the specific section at the the bottom.
