Legend
I will be making a 24 healer soon. And would like to know all of your opinions on this. I will not be choosing a Restoration Druid or Priest due to the facts that my main (90) is Restoration Druid and they are both just too overpowered that it's not even fun! I would personally like if you added pros and cons to your choice on the matter, but it is fine if you do not! Also, a best in slot Armory/Masked Armory would be well-appreciated with your chosen class.

Holy Paladin;
Pros - (What are the pros of rolling Holy Paladin?)
Cons - (What are the cons of rolling Holy Paladin?)

Mistweaver Monk;
Pros - (What are the pros of rolling Mistweaver Monk?)
Cons - (What are the cons of rolling Mistweaver Monk?)

Restoration Shaman;
Pros - (What are the pros of rolling Restoration Shaman?)
Cons - (What are the cons of rolling Restoration Shaman?)

I feel like this is a bit inconsistent. So you've already decided that druids and priests have too many pros, but want to know the pros and cons of the other classes? Are you truly certain of how overpowered those two classes are?

I don't agree that Priests and Druids are the most overpowered healers. Every healer has their pros and cons, and the major con to priests and druids are that they are too vulnerable to a good shaman.

Purge spam their hots and bubbles; they'll be forced to hardcast. That leaves them vulnerable to interrupts or they keep trying to heals with their hots/absorbs; which just get purged off.

DPS will tear them up if their team has a shaman who knows how/when to purge.

Can't dispel swiftmend.

Swiftmend requires regrowth/rejuv hots which can be easily dispelled within a gcd. The normal human reaction time is about a third of a second, and a gcd is 1.5 seconds. Which leaves you about 1.15 seconds to cast off a purge before the druid can even cast swiftmend after casting rejuv; that is assuming you are not in a gcd yourself.

Not only that, swiftmend is on a 15 second cooldown. Far from overpowered. A good shaman will make it incredibly difficult for them to get a swiftmend off. They would be forced to juke a windshear, cast regrowth+rej which will give them enough time to swiftmend even if the shaman manages to purge one of the hots off, leaving 1 hot remaining in order to get a swiftmend off.

That is of course we are assuming it is 1vs1. Add more people, the variables change.

druid is the best with paladin behind but shamans have also became OP just behind paladins but I still find the instants to be superior.

the thing about rejuv...as you know yourself it has that internal insta 250ish heal which I find outrageous...at least make the timer start ticking a bit later instead of that instant heal..so purge doesnt really help and rejuv has no CD.(well purge helps but only partially)

When lvl 20 druids wearing ALL agility gear and maces are healing more than lvl 60 raid geared druids did in classic...I just find something is very..very wrong...

Try eating a raw deviate fish and get that rejuv proc..how much a lvl 15-20 druid rejuv supposed to heal..44-70 not 250-350

It all depends on what you want. If you want to be a healer at the top of the charts go Paladin. If you want to be a healer that be a good contributor go shaman. I have played shaman BC. Now don't get me wrong. A good shaman can top the charts. But a great shaman won't. Playing a shaman is all about control. DOTing up stealthers, purging, dispelling, frost shocking, wind shearing and putting down that pesky searing totem. Buffing your FC's heal pool can be on that list. None of those things show up on the scoreboard but they contribute to a win.
