Thoughts on some new projects

    • Hey all,
    I have decided that I want to come back to lvl 1/5 twinking again :)

    I have some projects in mind, and would like to know some answers, your help will be much appreciated:

    Lvl 1 mage:
    With Frostfire Bolt lvl 1 mages should be a very viable kiting class at lvl 1?

    Lvl 5 monk:
    How is their dmg compared to rogues?
    How does Roll work in low lvl PvP?

    Lvl 5 druid:
    With Rejuv and MF, are druids good at lvl 5?

    Lvl 5 priest:
    With shield and Flash Heal, priests should be one of the most OP healers in the 5-bracket?

    And a generel question; are you available to play Pet Battles at lvl if you have learned the spell on your main?

    I don't think priests get flash heal at 5, and yes pet battles are account bound so 1s can do it. Make a level 1 and message me your real id so we can do cross realm stuff :)

    Level 1 mages are pretty good right now. I'd use a setup something like this..
    Human
    DoubleAGM
    10 Haste Gloves
    16 SP Bracers.
    Grand Staff of Jordan with 22 intel or a heartseeker and furbolg... The hit is nice, the only other way to get hit is pyrium or 5 hit on boots.
    Minor Speed and GSOJ for level 1 twink on 1 twink fights that should be all the hit you need.
    Im pretty sure frostfire is costing 1 mana right now. So I don't think 100 mana on chest is needed.
    As for level 5... I dont know anything..

    Was thinking of a build like this chardev 10 - Mist of Pandaria - BETA

    Maybe with minor speed, but if u keep slow up on your target, will it be necessary?
    And idk how much 15 SP on bracers will affect my dmg, but I'm gonna test it :)

    Would ress sickness influence PvP, like duels in front of Orgrimmar and such?


    And btw. do you guys know if the only races that can get green items at lvl 5 are worgens and goblins? :/
     
    There are multiple greens in teldrasil area quests for 5s.

    22 int is no longer BiS weapon chant. If you don't want the hit from pyrium fo some reason, go 30 sp.

    There isn't currently any way to build a lvl5 goblin anyway, although worgen was still doable last time i tried.

    I couldn't find any green items obtainable at lvl 5 as horde tho :/
    And according to chardev 22 int gave me 8 less SP than 30SP but 3% more crit?

    Battletag doesn't work crossrealm AFAIK. Oh - and I don't like ress sicknness. I want to be able to have every possibility open for either world pvp or PvE events.

    Yeh I got Voice Amp and Herbalist's gloves, but at lvl 5 GSOJ gives 11 sta and 1h BoA gives 1 sta, so I will only loose a lot of SP and resi with 1h + Pouch.
     
    There's a mana cap now and I can't regenerate mana during combat on my level 1 spirit doesn't even work. Mana enchant on chest is the only thing possible for more mana :/
     
    Intellect doesn't affect your mana pool anymore, dunno about the 100mana to chest though. But still 8 SP or 3% crit? I would still go with 22int.
     
    Im working on a level 5 monk myself and they are kind of a more sustained version of a rogue (I expected them to be much more bursty then rogues but hey what do you know :p). As it is a blood elf they are a true anti caster and I think they have pvp and pve potential on low levels.
