Never knew CC mages could equip 2h sword/mace/polearm for counterweight :p But the pyrium chain makes sense!

How much haste does a counterweight give

20 and I thought they could be used on staves but I could be wrong. And drama int sp is useless for a pure cc Mage. You aren't going to kill anything either way.

nah counter weight has never been use-able on a staff
srry meant counter weight

Int and sp isn't really useless, well to an extent it is but getting ~200 hp traded for loads of sp and crit is not worth it at all. In my gear I'm still able to land among the top DPS-ers some BG's.

As of now you have GREAT survival as it is already, hence it would be stupid to trade the little damage just have for just a tiny bit of more hp.

If you are doing anywhere near top damage then you aren't playing a cc Mage correctly ad are theirfore not relevant to the concept.

Well then you aren't a cc Mage and still hold no bearing on the subject......

What are you talking about? Are you just sad you got over-proved?

You created a thread that wasn't very thought-through at all. When people come in and enlightened you, you entered a defensive-stance and switched subject and started to talk about my gameplay?

But hey, why won't you duel-wield 2x GstoJ with weapon chain and counterweight and you report back tomorrow?

Why are you so upset? If you wanna make a threa about a hybrid cc/dps pug set be my guest. I'm talking about a set to maximize cc potential and survivability. No on proved me wrong and obviously it wasn't a thought out thread as implied by the word epiphany.....
