Viable for f2ps?

Hi im a longtime f2p. Ive been on aerie peak on my feral and looking for other oppirtunities to twink. Since so many agree that 15-19 isnt possible, im wondering if 10-14 is? I understand since most of the gear is grandfathered it would have to be lvl 14. So would a f2p lvl 14 twink be possible? If so what server are most of the twinks on and any suggestions on how i should get started? Any guides for a f2p point of view are greatly appreciated.
 
How are you going to get 10g to cap your XP? My only question other than that, it may be possible because most of the gear is from questing.
 
killing mobs so low level that they don't yeild experience CAN eventually make 10g... its just... really painful and slow.

(4 copper at a time? eeek)

15-19 isn't possible?....you have been lied to. 19 F2P done right does better against a 19 P2P than a 20 F2P does against a 24 P2P. both F2P's yeah are at a disadvantage ...one much greater than the other



10-14 is possible....you are gonna make a twink to look at? really....no BGs pop in that bracket. read the 10-14 forum....exactly



starting at level-5 fishing is how you get 10G....best place is blasted lands (southern part), lake in WPL. fish all the nodes, you get mithril and iron trunks from schools that aren't floating wreckages.



also starting your F2P on a low pop server and camping arena in STV



once you have gold and alot of items to vend, you can take your player to 10...turn off XP. do the quests to fill in some slots as best you can...then turn on XP and start BGing till 12 and turn off again....get more gear....got to 15 turn off XP. at this point you can load your player up with blues thru dungeon finder/quests. and get the cloaks/belts from rewards bags easier. waiting till you are higher level sucks cause getting WC on a random most of the time is a painfull way to get cloaks/belts.

Hell, maybe this person wants to play in the 10-14 Bracket?



I guess you could try this out. With BoA, i'm pretty sure you could do ok, and if you roll an appropriated class, sure, why not.
 
talking F2P....they are not gonna have BOA's. horde has the best 10-14 gear hands downs, F2P's started on the wrong side will not be able to faction swap



not trying to down 10-14....but nothing is happening there.



only thing going on are F2P players using F2P accounts to set up kill farming to get honor, but usually that's so they have BOA's and then they start BGing at 10 and go to 14, 19, or 20.



P2P 10-14's have to resort to using sytem lag and 20G per game to get into XP-on BGs.



i have a 13 rogue, originally started in 2007/8 as a 10. it's a cool bank alt
 
10-14 is still happening on scheduled game.



You probably have even less clue then I thought about Fp2. They have access to BoA.
 
yeah they have access, but generally are not gonna have them unless they use other F2P accounts to farm honor



F2P 1's have access, some start their honor farming at that level
 
First of all getting to 10g by vendoring isnt hard just takes time. JC and Fishing both do well to earn money if used correctly. Greater concern relies in teh gear possible that i can get and how active the bracket is. Does any server work or are all the players on teh same realm.
 
I'm working on a 14 f2p mage on medivh.

Polymorph and my cc is what will make me useful.

I farmed the gold by camping stv arena like said above.



The way im going to get boas is by farming honor like level one twinks did.

Because I dont think level 10s get spirit sickness when the spirit rez.

anyone willing to persue the 10-14 F2p feel free to hit me up on bamfcow/bamfmagi/carnagemobil. obviously you cannon whisperme unles whispered so type /join carnage, press "o" and check the carnage list.. if you see anyone with the above names log of and back on or w/e it takes to get ahold of me and ill grind your 10g for you. i did it for another guy and it wasnt really that painful on my part.



server: medivh, characters to seek: Bamfcow/bamfmagi/carnagemobil. Horde. (i guess i could help alli too.. just cant group and will tkae a bit longer of a grind.
 
FTP could work on some 14s, the biggest downside would be losing haste, int, or ag to weapon, and glove chants. the othe chants arent game changing.

so you're going to gy camp yourself on another account for honor? im fairly certain this was how gold farmers would rack up honor to buy gems with a level 1 toon.they would do it all day long and kill many other bot toons respawning over and over. if you didnt get caught and banned it would take soooooooooo long. if you want to play wow so bad, why not just buy it?

Doesn't take that long. Level 5 toon to level 5 on trials account. Put them in a random GY (like Deadwind pass) or Mulgore .. You farm them, there's a 45sec CD, you can basically kill 5 and make them respawn, and re-kill. This would give you 5 kill every 45sec. 1 kill per 8 sec. With the average rate of 1 honor per kill, that's 1 honor per 8 sec.



to get honor cap, it would take 32000 Sec which is about 9 hours.



9 hours to get honor cap, if that's, A LOT, I dunno haha

I dont get how a F2P could get BoA's....
