Legion Remix Overview (Level 20)

joining any guilds on AD is a big NO I've seen the state some people are on this realm in trade chat etc and as soon as remix is over I'm moving realms

Just be mindful that the ones you hear the most are not what most players are. AD is a big server, so bots and boost selling is gonna be more intense and flood the trade chat. Nobody keeps it on anyway. Same as for guilds, you have a couple of nice 20s guilds that are non-toxic about BGs and try to balance sides. But you have also some that like to premade and roll over others.
Again, AD is a big server so you have a larger pool of both the good and the bad players. I haven't especially noticed what you complain about while being in that server since end of Legion, I found more advantages than issues that can't be muted, especially for F2Ps who can't join guilds, but it's nice to hear a different opinion

Moreover, still on the exploit/glitch topic, it's pretty much personal standards on how far you go into the unintended gameplay. Twinking and F2P is all about restrictions and making the most out of it. Every player has their own limits on what they find acceptable, and given that twinking is more on the competitive side of "being the best", especially when PvP is possible, it highlights players who decide to abuse mechanics to be stronger than others. They come and go, but on their search for clout, it usually ends up negatively affecting other players :/

Just to add on to this:

Every guild I've ever been in on Argent Dawn over the past 5-or-so-years, I've almost never encountered anyone who actively keeps their trade chat enabled. Everyone treats the trade chat akin to how 20s twinks would treat a 29s premade in a BG. lol

my first two players i did the intro, came out of it at level 12, with many slots filled, even with a neck, 1 ring, and trink

third alt did the skip with druid and was given the bal druid art wpn. deleted. recreated, this time i selected guard spec before doing the skip and was given a guard art wpn. i had only 3 gear slots filled like at start of skip. i made it to 20 but going level 10-13 was rough. did the blue quests. while herb and mine, no class hall intro or quests, wpn is maxed all the way to felspike talent

my next alt i will do the intro, but not class hall etc

Played legion back in a day so opinion is "abit" jaded. Already had 60% of all things in vendors.
Played this for 4 days. reached 85% weapon upgrade already from just playing for few hrs of lfd/lfr a day.
Overall torn between the "why am i here" and "why this is called an event".

On the not so bright side:
1. There are no legion legendries. If we going for the legion vibe why it is not there with no restrictions?
2. No spell to swap around. Probably the best part about mop and breaking out of dungeons with them.
3. Still no battleground. Strange because legion had stat templates. why not do just that?
4. Allowing old world yet removing every npc is weird. Feels like having internet disconnected.
5. Do not enjoy the feeling of having characters without full bank tabs unlocked. Should of been starting point on remix.

You can unlock things without leaving dalaran, just sit on a rock and que lfd/lfr.
If you pick dungeons from research setting it will just throw them over and over at you.
So why can't this "event" be a part of bigger Timewalking hub area to buy old things this way overall? who knows.

On the brighter side:
1. My mop remix druids no longer steady fly at walking speed and still retained 420/430 mount speed. Only took a year.
2. Free cat models for whatever long it may last. Because in whole honesty fuck doing archeology for 8 month for single form.
3. Free hippogryph mounts always welcome.
4. Retarded gameplay. Not sure if it is a good thing.
5. Getting 7k bronze instant up on creating new characters. Will probably be more as rank go up. Just make sure u skip intro first before opening box in bag.

There are 2 vendors on the left behind tent when u face dalaran.
Easy to miss.
So don't.

you dont get 7k bronze from creating new characters, but i get why you thought that, they almost got me thinking that too.

You get a nice little bronze packet for the 2nd artifact on your entire bnet, and then the 3rd artifact on your entire bnet, but thats it. No more freebies after that.
So anyone planning to spam character creations for bronze its not a thing

not seeing 20s like i did in MOP remix. i have three G druids at this point. in dungeons about the only players out doing me are 80 MW, VDH, resdruid in bear. i ran a huge fleet of DPS players not jut tanks in MOP remix. with legion even as a tank, ques seem to be slower.

i do not recollect the transfer of remix players to regular game option in MOP remix. pretty sure we had to wait until the end when blizz dumped us over. so nice thing about this version is being able to create and transfer alts with 36 slot bags with a 30 reagent bag

Ok so idk if anyone knows about this bug/exploit, but apparently this box in highmountain keeps respawning as soon as you throw the kite item which is inside.




Spammed it for awhile and the box contains over 50-200 bronze, 80-300 infinite power and Idols that increase reputations for the legion factions for 2000. Have fun y'all.
The box does not respawn if you have the kite piece in your bag, so i assume its a failsafe way to ensure the player gets the kite if they ever dropped it ig?

Note 1: (Im in heroic world tier, so aint sure if the numbers are different on normal world tier)
Note 2: (Dont press spam it like an Orangutan, otherwise the game wont let you open and say you dont have permission, if so, relog and it should work fine)

I gave this a try for exactly 15min, just to have a quick data sample, and here are my findings thus far:

In 15min, I managed to open the chest 91 times (this can likely be improved with more accurate timing).

• 5611 Bronze
• 17,259 Infinite Power (with 11 Infinite Knowledge)
• 38 Stamina
• 8 Highmountain Tribe Champion's Insignia

I got the wardens insignia aswell, maybe its drop rate is lower than the highmountain one

(Edit: Something i'd like to add aswell, the other boxes that give the rest of the kite's pieces seem to be fine as they only drop the piece thats been thrown away, not this one however.)

Managed to solo the following as a warlock on normal difficulty, Ursoc and Illgynoth are borderline impossible for me, Illgynoth could be done on a different class with better healing/burst damage.

Around like 12 minutes edit : tried it today with a little better setup and got my kill down to 8:20

With the power of smite, ~9 min for Nythendra, 8 min for Cenarius, but i have to low dps to fight Xav,
Getting overwhelmed with corruption and then it's over.

Managed to solo all of the Emerald Dream (normal mode) with my monk and 4 alts.

My monk has 381k HP.

I only ever used summons or dots from my alts (and yes, it very much is a pain quickly changing window just to summon demons or elementals lol).

All my alts use the Twisted Crusade traitline, and honestly it made the run way easier than I had anticipated.

today i noticed my 20s are no longer gaining infinite power towards the next infinite power achieve. three 20s did the dailies, looted in some cases rewarded thousands on some dumgeon/LFR bosses, it shows in loot logs, numbers are not changing

Saw this mon-tue, toons at 1st acc gain no progress from regular drops - but gain full from that 100 raid pieces. At 2nd acc gains were regular.
