Yay! It's Finally Come To An END! Bye Bye 20's!

new faces =/= new players. New players =/= bracket growth. You know this.

looks like honestly, the queue times are decent and stable, the people that stopped playing won't stop playing more than they already have. That is pretty much exactly what chops said, and nothing that you have said refutes that point in any way.

The meta is going to be taken away, this ilvl 194 gear is obtainable by any level that can run the dungeon.
As soon as blizzard notices it, it will be taken away and rescaled to the designated level ilvl requirement and if for whatever reason it it does not happen the bracket will just be dead like it has been and everyone will either play end game on either classic or retail or twink on classic.

194 already nerfed.

but queue is dead, unpleasant surprise.

actually i know why: everyone is busy with new DF stuff, very few is doing twink PvP.

Obligatory queue report over the last 72hrs (all before the free weekend started)

1. 52min no pop
2. 1hr 5min Seething Shore pop 3v6 game automatically ended due to lack of players
3. 1hr 27min no pop had to log
4. 47mmin another Seething Shore pop 4v5 game automatically ended
5. 1hr 58min no pop had to log
6. 40min no pop
7. 1hr 13min no pop

It's pretty odd that Blizz would spin up instances without enough players, but here we are.

Other than the first 18hr gear rush, there isn't really any new useful content with this week's patch; certainly no content that would preclude people from queuing while doing it. So unless a significant portion of 20-29 players subbed and are leveling Evokers... /shrug

Free weekend.

edit- then thanksgiving (US).
Then DF launch.
Then Xmas.
Then New years/eve.

Weekends are potentially kinda booked for subbed/vet players. Cant speak for f2play, but wouldnt expect much.

I said it like 2 months ago, DF launch period is like a stealth f2play heaven if they weren't off crying salt about the levelers.

  • people trying out new class
  • people gearing up their alt 60s with the prepatch event
  • people leveling up alts to 60 with the prepatch event
  • i would check when it's 2 months into DF and then make a conclusion

  • It's taking ~30 minutes to level 50 to 56 at primal storms. Around ~75 minutes to level from 50 to 60. Massive time savings in a limited time event.
  • Farming ~525 essences each for those level 60's base 252 items. Great for parking at level 60, or for when they do level up to 70.
  • Testing level 29 in ToC gear at primal event. Just garbage ilvl 34 rare drops.
  • Testing level 29 in ToC gear solo in BfA dungeon. Doable, but takes a really long time to kill stuff.
  • Testing level 60 in BfA dungeon. Probably best to wait til in level 70 gear due to the prepatch scaling change.
  • Saw post on level 60 not looting Uldaman, get item in the mail and it's level 70 stats and required level 70. Great way to gear for level 70 ahead of time. :KEKW: gg Blizz

Massive time savings in a limited time event.

Also can add that I dinged 52 from discovery experience on a 51 (coulda sworn it was only 50 tho) cuz XP needed per level got reduced dramatically. So if you have any moderate XP at all you'll probably get the first level for "free"...

Tried combing through the patch notes and threads but does this mean that a 20 would count as xpoff in dungeons as well? Maybe I'm a weirdo but I kind of wanted to make a 20 so I could trash dungeons whenever a friend wanted a power level.
