How to: Loot Destiny, Hand of Edward the Odd, and Skullflame Shield under Level 20. (lvl 13 or 18)

Did you think these items would remain unobtainable under 20?

because it does not proc alot and it only procs from melee atks, and it offers less stats than other shields. Is it better sometimes? yes. Is it cooler? yes. Is it better most of the time? no.

Destiny is cooler, not always the best but most of the time.

I'd be inclined to agree with you but the 3% proc chance is noticeable compared to say Freezing Band (1%)... The proc can scale with main stat and versa, its a lifesteal, and crucially it can crit for double the value with no ICD. I have seen it proc 2 times in a BG facing off against Beerlover within 5-6 seconds. And I've seen a previous guildy get 3 procs in the same 10 second window. Granted, if the comp you're against is caster its probably not a wise choice, but the likelihood is you'll be facing melee.

Just wanted to share this drop :)

Before Oldspike and I settle in for the long haul on our level 17s, Edward procs on spell attacks as well?

Why would established twinks equip it on their priest otherwise?

I’m currently farming Ragehammer from Corrupted Guardians outside Sunken Temple. Am I going about this right? I’d imagine it’s the same concept, since wowhead specifies they’re both instanced and open world.

For farming outside of Sunken Temple you're going to want to be killing the Cursed Atal'ai, Atal'ai Priest, Enthralled Atal'ai, etc. troll mobs. Virtually everything in the underground temple area will likely drop Sunken Temple blues except for the Captain Wyrmak rare spawn accompanying the Corrupted Guardians and the named quest NPCs, though I can't say for certain.

Also there are unscaled (bugged?) Murk Spitter mobs deeper within the Sunken Temple area and their blue dungeon drops are probably going to be level 20 (the level they're stuck at).

This is only really useful if you're level 15-19 otherwise you should farm inside the dungeon. You probably are aware just sayin' for anyone else who reads this.

Are you guys realm hopping to force spawn the mobs infront of LWBS or just waiting out respawns?

I'm planning on trying this Farm on NA in the next few days to gun for Destiny ( just for fun mostly ). Curious if there's any luck hyper spawning the mobs, or if I should just set up an army of realm hop toons.

Update: not sure how many killed, but probably close to 10,000 looted (2-player group).

Zero epics.

Have about 5000 runecloth, several cards, several Enchant Bracers - Superior Stamina, 5-6 blues, and a deep soul crushing sadness.

Not sure if it helps you, but I spent 3 days farming on a 4-char group, 9k kills 1st day, 10k kills second day, 5k kills 3rd day, and got 2 epics in 12 mins in the same character, on the last 100 kills of the last day..

RNGesus has to be with ya on this thing..
