20s "Audit" Thread

talk about stat prioritization. how do you like not wearing all plate? do you notice it in damage you take?
also, nice winterfin proc!

I defer to @Peer on most paladin opinions
For stat prio, I tried to follow this: Int (thats why neck + stealth ring) > haste (up to 22% OW. At that point you get FoL cast on 1.2 inside bgs, which allows you to do FoL cast + Beacon swap and still get beacon to proc) > verse, as much as I could get without getting down int or haste.
Not wearing plate sucks, mainly because xmog limitations.. In the damage intake, I'll have to wait next weeks, since I have always played my pally with 0 talasites and 1.9k hp OW, so always felt squishier than other players.. Let's see now when everyone gets "paired" on hp and armor..
Winterfin proc was nuts, because it was not xpected.. I was doing the quest for other reasons then bam!. But I'm more proud of either shield or neck.. Mainly shield, that shit took crazy time to get

Lol, i like the layout and your stats are solid (better than mine rn). Other than something like socketed neck and wrist enchant, i think gloves are cool but i’d get aurora or harm gloves instead and make sure they’re not 5/5 since that’s only 10 stats and they can be 6/5
Ya I need a socketed neck bad, just waiting on all my stuff to sell lmao. I didn’t even realize 5/5 was one less stat thanks for the info, need to replace my shoulders as well then. But sweet I appreciate it. Now just to grind my entire existence for a davidians lmfao

Hello everyone :LFHCat:

This is my F2P Shaman. It's known by many as the best geared F2P character.

Mostly here to establish dominance, I'm gonna change boot enchant to Minor Speed next time I do some profession swapping. I'm still farming Legion epic rings with socket and shield with socket / speed, anything other than that I should change?

I only care about BGs with the bois so no Skirmish or Wargame builds

lmao average at best

thank god you finally fixed that horrendous neck enchant though

getting there, big guy!

It is a little mean to pick on F2P for lacking tert stats, my apologies.

But I will say if you got some ilvl 28 bracers with mast or haste, I'd legit use those over your ilvl 36 bracers. Which is sad, because swag. But I think theyre just not good re: quickblade stats. Might also consider giving up a socket to run high mastery or haste boots if you got those too.

Swapping those two pieces means keep the same number of sockets while getting a significant bump in desirable secondaries. Given that you have a ridiculous 27% vers, I think you can also lose a bit there to gain more significant output with mast or haste.

Is nobody going to mention https://www.wowhead.com/item=152637/sirens-alchemist-stone?bonus=0 over Sorcerer's?

[EDIT: Nvm, you finally left behind Ancient Priestess. I can finally put you on my balot for best F2P.] Or the god awfulness that is Ancient Priestess?

I don't have boots since I mostly farmed Fallhaven Pigs, which don't drop any Mail Boots, but I do have some high mastery Peerless Wrists (6 mastery / 2 crit) and Belt (8 mastery / 3 crit) that I could use. I just hate that it says Peerless, I only want Harmonious or it's ugly :PepeHands:

This was better criticism, thanks

lmao average at best

Any suggestions on what to change? Other than the things Chops mentioned.

Comments like that aren't really helpful to anyone and I don't think its the type of criticism CigNus had in mind when he created this thread.

But the swag factor!

I guess I've never actually given you a real critique huh. Nothing you say is ever serious so I never take anything you say seriously.

I'll give it a go, but I won't be commenting on the broken pieces.

HELM: yeah
NECK: yeah. I see you finally switched out your neck enchant. I'm a big fan of mark of the claw but for rsham trained soldier is likely the better choice so you went with the better option here.
SHOULDERS: these aren't bad, but as rsham it's likely that having a heavy mastery pair would have been preferred, and since you have a sickening 27% vers, you could afford to lose some vers here and there for some extra mastery, as previously stated, rsham has one of (if not the) most valuable mastery in the bracket atm. I've had conversations with @Kirise (highly educated shaman player) about it and he says at certain points it's equivalent to straight up intellect. Also no speed
CLOAK: this cloak is actually rather impressive for a f2p, but it's missing speed, and as you said you are mostly a BG toon, so missing out on speed is a big deal imo. If my toon was a BG toon I'd be embarrassed to wear any BoE without speed.
CHEST: good as long as you're using the 2 piece.
BRACERS: I'm not sure if f2ps could get i28 mail bracers or not last patch? But a pair of savant bracers or even high mastery ferverflare / harmonious would have been much better here. Speed as well as usual obviously.
MAIN-HAND: yep
OFF-HAND: avoidance lol?
GLOVES: good as long as you're using the 2 piece
BELT: a high mast socket speed i28 would have been ideal here. If you struck out, this is a fine alternative. Tinker is good.
LEGS: yep
FEET: a high mast socket speed i28 would have been ideal here. If you struck out, this is a fine alternative. Also, earthen vitality lol? Minor speed is BiS for rsham.
RING 1: this but socket speed. Probs go binding of mastery for enchants
RING 2: this but socket speed
TRINKET: trinkets are tricky (and I say this in every critique) because there are so many options that are good in different situations. In PvP, you'll want to use the heirloom and dragon most often, in PvE, you might opt for a Pit Fighter and a Hunger of the Pack, etc. I'm just going to assume that you have so many trinkets you play around with that any of them I suggest that aren't on your armory atm are already in your bags and being used.

all around it's a decent toon. Certainly not above and beyond, you're mostly carried by OP gear you shouldn't have and the rest is aite. You've made some glaringly questionable choices (some you've fixed) and I imagine it's just from lack of PvP expertise / experience as you're an achievement whore. You should have really been stocking up on high mastery i28s when you had the chance if you weren't.

I'd take a look through Rise's shaman guide to see if you can make any easy changes. He's probably the most qualified shaman on these forums.

that said, this is completely pedantic and farming Fledgling Heroes of Warcraft in the random queue takes nothing but some gem slots so go get em champ

Thank you

Currently working on the Rings and Shield, already replaced the Wrists and Belt with these but still need to get enchant for the Wrists and armory hasn't updated since.

Also changed the Versa enchant on Versa Ring to Mastery, I just though it looked better with Versa on Versa ring and Mastery on Mastery Ring :(

And sadly since I am F2P the BoE grind was removed recently, and never managed to get any Mastery heavy 28s with Socket + Speed. Finding groups were hard, now I'm just hoping to have some better luck with Epics in Legion.
