Shadowlands F2P Baseline Guide

Didn't work for me, back then(was right after shadowlands patch started, 9.0 I think).
I don't remember all details on why, but I think I can guess.
Even though I did had "find fish" at the time, I didn't have the anglers raft or other water mount, so finding nodes was very challenging. Then it turned out they need vanilla fishing skill to be high if I remember correctly...

Darkmoon ones didn't give me any mats either, only potions...

There is vendor that is suppose to sell it, camped it for a while, didn't see it there, either...

In short - sure, if someone can get it working it could be faster, didn't work for me, however.

I do have to mention that it malfunctions a lot more often then it did back then, however. Still can get very high with it, but may take some attempts before that.
I managed to fish up leather mats (and a bunch of cloth and stranglekelp) for gnome engineering just making a single run up the west coast of STV from booty bay. ymmv obviously, but I was getting a iron bound/waterlogged trunk like every pool, and leather from like every other trunk.

How do you use up garrison resources if you go with the barn? Currently I've gone with trader for leather and fur. I'd imagine you could get way more with the barn, but the passive loot from trader is nice.

Yea, I stayed with the trader as well. Tried the barn on 2 alts so far.
It needs to go around trapping animals, produces very little fur and overall was waste of time for me.
If someone is focusing on that a lot, it can help a little...

I'm wondering if we can update the trader to lvl 2... In theory blueprint needs "1 exalted" with faction there... I tried council of exarchs, back then there was reputation buff from the anniversary event, it was also on human and with all possible quests still wasn't enough for exalted.
While farming mobs will take ages...

Maybe some of the pvp factions, however, would make it doable.

One exalted reputation unlocks the level three blueprint. Since you can't have a level three building anyways that's a moot point. The level two blueprint runs into the problems that you only get one shot at level two blueprints for your medium and large lots and that those blueprints are bugged now with a phantom level requirement, but in theory with GM help they should be doable.

As for how to make use of garrison resources as you approach cap? There are always the items that autocomplete 5 work orders for various buildings, and those do work just fine. I have one toon who does have the barn/tailoring hut combo. I can get a bunch of wolf cages without too much effort when I'm okay killing time, and then autocomplete a bunch as I approach the resource cap.

B: BAG SPACE
F2P players’ goldcap (more on this topic later) has been raised from 10g to 1,000g. This opens up a much larger storage capacity than previously allowed in the form of all Bank Bag slots, Reagent Bank, & Void Storage. The road to filling every inventory & bank slot with maxed out bags is a long one, but this is a small section of three large-sized bags that can be obtained with minimal effort.
I've seen a few people on discord recommend Deep Sea Bag as an easier alternative to Hexweave. I haven't looked into it, is there some reason its unavailable to F2P?

It's the active vs passive grind and the need to spend some resources to eventually learn the pattern. Where you can "farm" hexweave pretty much automatically via the garrison.

Basically, do you want to grind pirates in non-instanced freehold for a couple weekends or do you want to just eventually have enough cloth for 30 slot bags via a few minutes of work every couple of days for a month or so?

i just guessed half this shit when i wrote it, and haven't updated. :p
deep sea is indeed easier (considering you will probably be grinding BfA humanoids for ilvl 28s anyway).
@Chops mentioned the benefits of going the Hexweave route.
(could do both!)

"Assault on Bash'ir Landing!: Apexis Shard" is there a way to get this quest only at level 20? WoWHead said the skyguard give the first quest in the chain who standing next to the taxi station at Shatrath but he not give me anything. And I can't get Ogrilla with the Cannon or corpse que.

You don't need the quest in order to start the event. Just go to Bash'ir Landing and wait, it happens on a set timer: every 2 hours.

As for Ogrilla, you can just die near it and take ress sickness inside the zone, which is meaningless to do since the quest isn't available. Just get near Bash'ir Landing and die close to the mountains (there is like an ogre base near Gruul's Lair, go there and let them kill you while you're close to Bash'ir Landing), then take ress sickness inside Bash'ir Landing.

Thank you. So you don't need the quest. And there is nothing at the place Ogrilla for an F2P.

As for Bashir Landing thank you for the advice, yesterday I used my Cannon to get there. (And from there to Ravens Wood :D I was so happy after I find out, there is a tunnel there from the mainland. lol )

Grinding those Apexis Shards - 160 per Meta Gem for "just" +1 Int on a caster. Used to be more beneficial before they nerfed the other gems from the Vendor. I "cheat" the event and party with a high level and let it do the killing while just i wait for the last vendor >.<

Actually, they nerfed everything. Just for fun, I'v got my third AGM because after the squish it got ilvl 28 (hence not very useful now) I hoped maybe if I'v got a new one that will be ilvl 55 because all of my stuff squished but if I get it again it got some decent stats. But not AGM, it's ilvl 25 now, absorbs 32 damage... even worse than the old ones which still useless. :/

Just some advice for anyone wanting to pursue Deep Sea Bag, you can use the Scrap-o-Matic 1000 / Shred-Master MK1 to scrap any cloth armor for more materials. Locations are here https://www.wowhead.com/guides/how-the-scrapper-in-battle-for-azeroth-works#faction-alliance. You need lvl 50 tailoring to craft the bag, but I would just make Tidespray Linen Bracers since they are so material efficient. Scrapping them will both profit you more Deep Sea Satin and refund some of your Tidespray Linen. The second level of the bag recipe at lvl 85 only reduces it by 2 satin and 1 linen so I don't think it's worth it.
