Hello guys, could someone point me to some good 20lvl pvp warrior ?

Im looking for help with itemization, or just what stats to focus, also what weapons etc.

You can get a pretty good idea by simply looking at some of the Warrior Armories stickied at the top of this board.

Also, obviously depends on what spec you’re looking to play (hint: just go Arms).

Hell, maybe if @Chops is feeling nice today, he can give you a pointer or two... he knows his stuff!

Good luck.

I'm actually in the process of writing a pretty in-depth warrior guide. But I'll give you the tl;dr

If you're arms, get the artifact weapon and a pretty even balance of crit, mastery and vers as gear allows (maybe crit > mastery = vers).

If you're fury, its artifact weapons (and if youre alliance, its maybe cudgel of naralax and an offhand, not sure) and you're gonna want to gear haste and vers. Mastery is good but you're just not enraged enough to get a whole lot of benefit from it.

Im a big nerd and stuffed my gear with stam gems but probably the better move is a mix of talasite and strength gems. I probably have a little too much health. Either way, Crusader carries your damage, so find a gem set up *you* like. Im over aggressive and often chase people till Im well out of position, so high stam and vers make that a bit more forgiving. If you're a smart warrior, you could probably get away with more str. Its up to you.

Gear will mostly come from TBC dungeons and ilvl 28 socketed greens. There's a ton of discussion about where to find what gear, feel free to browse around.

Hey there Chops, i seen your armory, what i was mostly curious was that stat balance.
Im currently on one twink realm that has ton of 28ilvl BoEs so im filling my bags for future twinks, BUT
I seen that most warriors dont use BoEs but rare items from dungeons.

So if you are doing a guide, i will wait for you to finish as i am curious about BiS items and stuff.

btw how bout staff of one true brambled king for arms ? it is 44ilvl, wont it be better than artifact ?

Its gonna be a mix and one I imagine that shifts overtime as meta and gearing meta shift and maybe Talasites get nerfed, etc. But for right now, people seem to like 3 gem slot chest and legs, with single slot BOEs elsewhere. Which I think is a fine balance.

If you look at both my toons, my f2p and my vet, youll notice that the F2P only has one (not very good) BOE. I posted screenies of their character sheets somewhere else, but the stat difference is null. I think its like 3 more str on the vet, 5 more stam on the f2p and the same amount of secondaries, just a crit heavy distribution on the F2P and a more balanced one on the Vet.

Point being, dont sweat that part too much. It doesnt *really* matter.

yea, it is but Im also assuming its on the nerf chopping block fairly soon. Get both though! just in case.

Getting both weapon and gems backups in case talasite gets cut is a safe bet.

But if you're feeling lucky and just starting out you might want to reroll a few times and try to get an epic or a socket proc on the staff. It's fast and easy but who knows how long it will last.

I thought the grind for a socketed Bramble staff would be like getting Field Tested Spear to proc epic back in BFA, which was tolerable. So I gave it a shot and after 3 weeks of constant rerolling I ended up with 2 indestructible, 1 leech, and 1 speed . As always it's RNG but having those other tertiaries really makes the grind suck. Plus it's only a 40 percent chance to even get the staff. I'm just settling with the speed proc and wishing I never wasted my time with that asshole Brambleking Fili! But good luck to anyone that attempts this farm and be sure to post it in the epic upgrades thread 2.0 if you get it!

make sure to find yourself a healer friend to pocket you. A warrior with a good pocket healer just crushes randoms.

for some reason I had it in my head that it was ally only.

So did i.... just finally ran it on my tauren.

Chops did a thing about it a while ago, it was.... slightly better? It's not about replacing the artifact, it's just about SMF.

Cuz it's hella sexy.
