US Leveling up grandfathered 19 druid because shadowlands.

My druid has been sitting idle for so long now, and now that he will never be 19 after shadowlands, i'm going to level him up to 20 and transfer him to my vet account with all the enchants he will need for the future vetting.

He has max engi and alch already, and am planning to use BG MH/OH, maybe farm an epic foam before i transfer. Are epic boulder shoulders any good for druids? I would like to be BIS for the little time i have left with my vanilla twink.

Any tips or advice to know before transferring him over? Anything to grab before hand?

boulder shoulders
why have i not been calling them "boulder shoulders" this whole time...

And theyre great for glass cannon boomkin fun, if thats your bag.

You need to update some stuff, but none of its huge. You'll want accord of versatility on your rings, not binding, and you'll want a BG crate blue ring. Youll also end up with BG blue bracers and you can put whatever enchant you want on those without game time. Same with your upcoming OH. For your MH, make sure you get greater spellpower, not healing. Healing cant be used without game time.

You also cant transfer with hierlooms, so youll have to delete your neck and shoulders. Buy an extra satyr enchant but dont use it till after the transfer.

Cloak of the brotherhood from deadmines, a grip of different engi helms and you should be good to go. I probably missed something but Im sure someone else with fill in the gaps.

Do i have to get new fang set that is level 20 because i got my whole set at level 19. Wondering if it scales like that

I have been looking at the quick start gearing guide and am going to assemble some of the items that i can from there

I believe the only thing that's difference between level 19 fang and 20 fang is the amount of armor given.

ya know, normally id say dont worry about it but "because shadowlands" Id go ahead and upgrade. Who knows, ilvl 25 may be a scaling break point. weirder shit has happened.

Turns out the gloves have different item levels based on the required level so i'll snag a new pair of those and chant them up

Ahh fair enough, just wanted to hit all the bases i might want before i transfer him.

I appreciate your responses :)

Honestly, I like a good Iron Grenade. Theyre stupid cheap to make and come in handy. And they require enough timing and prediction of where the enemy is gonna be in 2 seconds that they dont feel scummy to use.

I typically stock my vets with arcane bombs too but my god, I always feel a little dirty using them. I still do, sometimes, but eck. I made 200 for my warrior. almost 11k hks later and he has 198. Dont recommend spending the gold for these, but ymmv.

I actually use Potions of Defiance way more than saltwaters or third winds on my druid. Acts like a mini barkskin, more or less. Theyre also insanely cheap on most servers (like... less than a gold per), so a good stockpile wont break the bank.

sharpening/weight stones if you plan on playing feral at all. The BG weapon is a staff, so weight stones are the better bet.

I'd imagine most of those MoH pots are dirt cheap, no? MoH are worth like silver if not copper at end game from what I can tell, people just blow 25 marks on those nets that dismount you for a laugh.

Nothing wrong with feeling a little dirty sometimes......
I wish I had the recipe to make these bad boys......
I don't mind when I get frozen in place on my Huntard, I can still pump a mage full of arrows, but when on my Warrior, I would love nothing more than to hurl one of these right into the mages face!!! ;)
