What can we do to increase the amount of Alliance players?

I play Whitemane-Alliance, I'm a 39 warrior with pretty decent gear and enchants. I hop into a match and it's 7v10. They wipe us mid, grab flag, camp us at gy, cap flag, and repeat. 2 alliance afk out, 1 guy stops accepting resurrections. Everyone is complaining in bg chat. A horde shaman starts dancing with me out of pity. A rogue's death ray promptly sends me back to the gy.

This happens for about 90% of my games and I haven't won more than twice. What can I do to get my friends included? They all seem to talk down on the bracket or twinking in general. Even with the catastrophic failure of my win/loss ratio I still have a lot of fun. How did you all get your friends involved? Most of my people are all raid logged anyway trying to beat a 30 minute BWL so it should be easier than it has been to get them into some matches with me.

But Whitemane-Alliance is the twink hub and the place to be, and West has all the great games. I'm confused.

But that aside, it sounds like you need better friends. :) That's only partially snarky, because if they aren't predisposed to playing low level PvP, you're going to have a hard time convincing them to join you with any consistency. There are plenty of other people who already love twinking, so maybe branch out and befriend some of them. I'm sure the Whitemane folks will be replying in droves and recruiting you soon. so maybe start there.

You can either roll horde wich some alliance have been doing to make the problem worse or get some buddys to make 39s and just roll in groups to have a shot at winning vs 10man twink pugs.

At this point im going to give up my early morning/day solo queues because im just running around the base with half their team on me while my pugs struggle to kill one guy in mid

Most of our wins come from grouping in 5+mans hate on it if you want but how else are we suppose to win in a bracket dominated by horde twinks. Even then we can queue with 5 just to actually vs 10 twink pugs or a horde premade and if we lose we get emoted to death and called out for "shitty whitemane premades" Theres only two realms on alliance side with considerable population of alliance twinks and thats WM and Thunderfury. Horde have 5+ reams with good populations, 90% of games they 2x the amount of twinks.

The problem lately has seem to be a huge increase in horde twinks, I see new faces everyday but for alliance its all the same players some of wich get tired of and just end up going horde.

It seems daunting but i've been told there are some horde re-rolls coming alliance and if we can get players like you to bring in even just a couple new players it would quickly even up the numbers to get a fairly matched game.

Solution: get your friends to make twinks and fight hard.
Opposite of a solution: rolling horde on 39 west..

Just so its known I have a 39 undead warlock, he was my first 39 and my favorite to play. I rolled alliance for fast queue times mostly but also to help even out the bracket for everyone. I'm all for being on the underdog team and having to really fight for wins but lately alliance is so outmatched it's not even fun.
I'm almost done my hpal OP. If it's any consolation, I'll keep you company in the GY and absorb a few /spits for you.
We need more players like you my dude, thats a strong mentality right here. Props to you, hope to see you in the gulch.

Well I won't be giving up anytime soon. Horde can only enjoy free wins for so long especially when they are winning with no effort and camping the GY waiting for one or two people to resurrect. I'm not going to queue in the mornings or during the day because that's really when the balance is at the worst levels(had a 4v10 first thing this morning). Games seem to be at a minimum 8v10 during late afternoon/night. If we could have just a few horde transfer over I think they'd really enjoy the matches against their previous allies.

3 weeks ago the problem was that Whitemane had no competition and you guys were begging for horde twink transfers. Now the problem is there in an increase in horde twinks and now you want alliance rerolls and the games are no longer fun?

So basically, you got what you asked for and now you're pouting because you don't get to camp GYs anymore.

Our "killing the bracket" came from Whitemane queing premade for a couple weeks around the time battlegroups split up and AB came out. Having our regular 10man groups rolling over horde pugs quickly left oneside feeling down about even wanting to play the game anymore. This was squashed as soon as this virus hit the world and server queues turned into 6 hours, but in responce to us premading to give us a fair game it seems guilds like <PTL> came out and we had a huge influx of horde twinks including a bunch of our own members. Though we have been blessed with layering we just dont even have the numbers we did before this all started. With the <DoD> taking this hit and being one of the only alliance guilds that were even active enough to bring some competition were not left with much on this side. The west feels like how the general bracket was before the split queing into either a premade or 10 solo que twinks with at least half your team being low level pugs. Anyways it shouldn't be up to one guild or realm to save the bracket, the games we weren't in were an easy stomp for horde. You should see when we get a 5man into a game we have twinks and pugs glad to see they actually stand a chance.

The problem is and always was that the majority of twinks roll horde or are horde to begin with, this was a huge problem before the battlegroup even split up wich is why myself and a few others joined the <DoD>

I think you're too bent on derailing anything i say to understand what i'm telling you but it's here for anyone else to see and think about.

How are games on the on east coast? I've heard its actually pretty much dead and the consensus before that was theres no competition left on either side. Comparatively i'd say you'd still have a better gaming experience on west coast despite the faction imbalance. For horde you can win a ton of games and fight some good WM/TF premades with a few various solo queue twinks and on alliance every game you have is a challenge because its either a full or partial premade with a bunch of solo que twinkers.

I still stand by saying people should come out west and we are the more competitive battlegroup but if you want to help even the numbers out, roll alliance.

I've only been in AB for the last few weeks when playing 39 East, but I haven't seen much to speak of in terms of Alliance. There's been some fresh BG heroes but nothing coordinated. Was bummed that I didn't get to see the Snack Pack crew over AB weekend.
