Horde need more FCs and heals, alliance need more melee and a larger player base.

Horde- Healers.
Alliance- idk maybe better warlocks and mages

I don’t know man, it’s hard to play a lock decently at 39 when a disc/shadow priest just out perform you, but the ones I’ve seen do a decent job at it.

Mages yeah I’ve seen a few on alliance side going for kills and dps. Rarely do I see one playing mid control but for class balance I’d say alliance have enough casters, the games I get in they lack melee dps.

I see a bunch of PoD dwarf warriors rolling around for some reason but besides Youb I dont think i've seen one good alliance warlock, I barely see any twink mages at all. Darkwingduck is the only one I see besides Indica and hes obviously a rager and griefer because he cant juke a cs to save his life and wants to make a character on my realm just to QQ because i laughed at him

I see a lot of locks and mages on alliance side, I’m not saying they’re good at their class, but my understanding of the question is what classes are they short on. I could be wrong in which case can someone please roll an alliance mage and show them what rank 1 frost bolt is please. Or don’t, the less mages that know how to CC makes me look a lot better when I finish my horde mage

I dont think Alliance are lacking anything but a real player base, and they have a good balance of classes . Honestly alliance pugs even come together decently to run flags and group around flag carrier. Idk if it's ally mentality or what but everyone horde side wants to be a solo hero and camp mid while an ally druid runs flags on the edge of the map.

Everyone still has the mentality that HKs and KBs is what makes you good, remember for some people this is their first time around. I remember I use to sit mid/guy and farm kills.

It wasn’t till I joined a proper 39 twink guild and played with actually good people did my mentality switch to be more objective base. I don’t care if I finish a game with zero kills and 20 deaths as long as I have stayed on that FC keeping crippling / mind numbing up and blinding/kicking/sapping that healer.

What classes/roles do you think the bracket needs? On either Horde/Alliance side.

I've been tracking group comps in/for a different topic, but they are probably more relevant here at this point. Through 50 games I've tracked over the last week and a half or so...

Average group comp per game:
Alliance:
Priest: 1.08 Rogue 1.722 Paladin: 1.305 Warrior: 1.55 Druid: 1.305 Mage: .944 Hunter: 1.638 Warlock 0.75
Horde:
Priest: 1.02 Rogue: 2.472 Shaman: 1.5 Warrior: 1.41 Druid: 0.75 Mage: 0.80 Hunter: 1.277 Warlock: 0.75

Alliance needs more players overall, and of the players they have they need more damage. Horde needs more druids to FC/heal.

More PoD enhancement shaman twinks.
Punkrats "(39) Shaman twinks are busted!!, Should you make a shaman twink??" youtube video from 3 weeks ago has already clocked up over 27,000 views so expect even more of a flood of 'em.

Shadow Priests are just bad compared to Locks, which are extremely powerful at 39. Not sure where you're coming from with this, being that Locks arguably do the most DPS of any class in this bracket.

You should probably specify NA in OP.

I thought the same thing about spriest, they are ok 1v1 I'd imagine but not really great damage dealers. Lock+spriest is just stupid op tho, don't think anything really compares to that combo maybe a badass Druid and pod warrior.

i blame that bastard for all the peeps wanting 3k and shit for PoDs hahaha - will be good for ally if all these peeps try making enhance shammies tho, least ally will get tons of games in :) saying that i really need to get my ally sorted out to play when horde side is abit slow

Hauntz is spot on here, ally PuGs are much better a playing together than horde PuG are, its kinda always been like that. ally already have a good spread of classes from what ive seen but just lack the actual numbers, ally dont need more mages or locks or root spammng druids :) you dirty bastards haha

I commented on his previous video requesting he specifically make one about 39 shaman twinks, and he liked it. Then he came out with the vid :D

This is basically the solution to the OP's question itself. Ally need more horde, the rest will sort itself out.
Ill get there ( got a lvl 20 pally ill finish up and xfer to NA ), i used to play both sides for that purpose, life gets in the way these days ( WTB being early 20 with lots of free time and money again ) damn family and there needs :) , im trying to convince some of the guildies to do it aswell :) im pretty sure ally get 2 games to hordes 1 atm and thats just not fair, equal game time for everyone i say, greedy allys :p

I hear that... I started a couple ally but just not gonna be able to get it done, im afraid. But one less horde too XD.

Not complaining on the time investment, classic is classic. Every bracket needs people willing to play both sides tho.

edit- not every server is the same, of course, but gear prices have plummeted ridiculously low on my PvE. Shouldn't be too hard for others to try to experience both sides too, for bracket longevity it's gonna be a necessity (learning from the past).
