Consumables in general.

Oh I won't and i'll continue to outplay those that do. Even with their advantage.

Good discussion! : ) It always feels good to outplay consumable users without them.

And each person will decide how much gold they feel like burning as they play : )

Honestly, it feels good to outplay consumable USERS on a regular basis. Which is why I personally don't mind, because I just simply adapt my play and positioning to counter potential consumable use. And even if I lose to a USER, I just laugh it off.

I remember losing a duel on my priest one time to a rogue that arcane bombed me three times during the duel because he was so shit at landing kicks, and it felt good to know he had pay an asston of money just to beat me.

Bombs? yes pls
Palys using freedom + speedpots noooooooo fak off
+ mages are one big consumable

Speed pots completely change the dynamic of a game. Bombs have some effect but NOTHING near the level of a speed pot.

The same people crying over speed potions are the same one's on priest or shamans not dispelling them.

I also disagree, and believe bombs are more impactful than speed potions

Thinking about it on a bigger scale:

Would you rather play a game where nobody has speed pots or everybody has speed pots?

That question can be applied to all consumable types and should settle the debate.
[doublepost=1577984736,1577984600][/doublepost]If you prefer a game where everybody has speed pots, you might as well go twink at lvl 49 with mounted WSG.

That's because you decide to stay in range and ToT jump over and over.

Still doesn't change the dynamic of crossing mid in a matter of seconds (I'm not talking about an FC under pressure). An entire offense could wipe, rez and swift pot across the map in half the time. Just one example, but there's plenty more, just use use your imagination. There's not a priest or shaman covering every inch of the field.

No, it's because speed potions can be negated by roots, polymorphs, fears, saps, and dispels. There are literally 3-5 different jumps you can do at TOT to avoid the bomb.

Let me know when you get pugs who actively know how to coordinate that on potion use.

Out of curiosity, would you prefer a game where everyone has swiftness or nobody?

Doesn't really matter to me TBH. I play expecting other players to use everything at their disposal

Isn't the core of Twinking to min/max your gameplay? why wouldn't you use speed pot/thistle tea/rocket boots/discomb to have an advantage or counterplay your oppenent, especially in pug where most team are imbalanced. Also keep in mind those consumable share CD with Healing potions and Bombs which can impact a game more than a speed boost.

If you can't afford those consumable it doesn't mean i have to stop myself from using them, same goes with gear.
