EU+US Best melee class for F2P

Which is the best MELEE class for F2P? Right know I have a rogue, but I'm thinking to try something else. :D

Well either
  • Enhancement Shaman.
  • Feral Druid.
  • Retribution Paladin.
  • Rogue.
  • Survival Hunter.
  • Warrior.
Not quite sure :O

Warrior and ret are dependent on crusader for damage, so they're out.

Enhance shaman sucks even with enchants so def not worth it.

Survival hunter is probably a good choice given the mobility, CC and general annoying-ness but they don't do much in the way of damage.

Feral druid, on the other hand, has probably the smallest gap between performance as a vet and performance as a f2p. Weapon damage enchants scale well for feral and f2p +1 weapon dmg. Considering vets want to use +3 dmg, you aren't far off the mark. Play conservatively and I think there's some real potential there.

I'd imagine rogue (outlaw specifically) would be the most effective as pure f2p. Ret and warr are too dependant on crusader for their damage so they're only good vetted. Feral has potential with the way wep damage scales and is probably your second best bet. Enhance is bad with enchants so I think that's a nogo.

Outlaw not only likely has the highest damage output with the pistol shot procs but it has stealth, cc, etc. Crazy good objective spec for protecting FCs, ninjaing bases, controlling healers while the rest of the team kills, etc.

A 20 Ret Paladin should not be considered since their Crusader Strike only has one charge and they have no mobility.
Also, what would be a good choice for a PartySync'ed 29? I guess Fury can be a good choice 'cause of Pummel.

Is prot warrior amazing yet, again?

Still shit because no crusader, plenty of other specs have a kick @ 29 like arcane mage.

Well, they have Thunderclap slow on a low CD and with a possible 100% uptime.

Oh, it's more for leveling characters by pvp'ing in the bracket, instead of using seeking high competitive play.

I agree with all of this, with outlaw rogue being my 2nd go-to character after my RDruid. Exactly for all the reasons Ohti stated. I enjoy playing "special teams" on both druid and rogue; crowd control, recaps, objective play rather than face to face battle. Outlaw Rogue is best suited for that style of play (behind the druid itself).

Arcane mage is the best choice for party sync. High damage poly and cs.
Frost DK is a good choice too. if played right they can be immortal.
