Fury Warrior?

Yes yes yes. I know 2h is superior here but I like the fury game play.

I’m debating on my last few points for the spec but not sure what to do with them.

should I just blow all of my points into the fury tree?

right now I’m 4/36/0. Should I lose the 5/5 imp battlecry and go 8/32/0 just for the 3 points in tactical mastery?

Any spec suggestions would help.

Idk about 2h superiority, I for one love the idea of a thrash blade/fury axe buid. Extra hits = more rage. Just my idea on paper.

Won't really know as far as spec until you try it, but theory crafting I went with a 3/36 build. However, I did not pick up improved battle shout. With five points you will gain 35 attack power which is around 5 weapon damage. Didn't seem very impactful. This is up to you though.

Yeah I haven’t been set on my points just yet.

How did you spec?
3 into imp heroic strike? Did you pickup imp execute and intercept?

I picked up improved execute and improved intercept. Not entirely set on the improved execute though. I was thinking improved rend over improved heroic strike, but not entirely convinced on that either. At level 60 the fury builds don't always max out Heroic Strike so going off of that. Plus rend will be used in every fight where heroic strike will just be a rage dump.
Tactical Mastery may be too good to pass for the stance dancing when Overpower procs. Hard to say since you will miss out on some really good Fury talents by going that route. I am no expert so do your own playing with the spec to find what you prefer.

Points in imp heroic strike don't really matter at 60 because once you're raid geared / world buffed you literally can't dump rage faster than you generate it. Its probably a bit different at 49.

Very true. It is just hard for me to guess at this point how often you would use heroic strike in a fight at 49. Maybe won't even use it. Probably will use rend every fight though. Still hard to say without being 49 and testing.

I was thinking 8/32. 5 into deflection and 3 into tact mastery.

or just 4 into deflection and 36 into fury.
Not sure what would be best...I have blood razor and doomforge as my OH.

Fury kinda works better at 60 because of hit gear, due to the huge miss chance for your offhand. Fury outperforms arms only rrreeally late into gearing

Hit doesn’t matter in BG’s though. So not sure where you’re going with this.

My bad.

Tactical mastery though great talent cuz you can keep swapping stances (like popping retaliation and swapping back to zerk for whatever reason) imp heroic strike isnt a good idea cuz you probably wont be using heroic strike even at all (tooltip says 15 rage but you actually lose 15 rage + the rage gain from your next strike) to do a tiny amount of extra physical damage

I wish 49s got retaliation. Unfortunately that’s a 50 talent. But yeah. I’ve been debating on 3 points into tact mastery since 15 rage is better than no rage whenever you stance dance.

Retaliation is a lvl 20 ability tho (recklessness is the 50 one)
But yeah tact is almost a must since you have to swap stances alot in pvp

You are mistaken. The single difference regarding hit chance in BGs is that how far you have leveled up your specific weapon skill is irrelevant, becauy your skills are all maxed for your level.

So yes, your offhand is suffering from it's hit chance penalty. Your hit and crit chance goes up against lower level players and they have a lower chance of dodge/block/parrying your attacks. Bonuses to weapon skill, including racials, will adjust all those stats accordingly, just like all other combat in the game.

I recall needing 6% hit to guarantee yellow hits to land in PvP? Does that sound accurate?

edit- to "not miss" special attacks disregarding parry, block or dodge. Just simply taking miss out of the equation.

5% vs same level.

Ok, 6% was something about racials I guess... maybe BC? Dunno, 5 sounds good.

edit- ermmm.. maybe 6 was casters?
