Do you still play classic?

People talked about hype would get away in a few months. It's all about nostalgia. Classic is trash etc..
From my view, I've lost my interest in Retail WoW chars. Rolled over 10 f2p chars and I've played them for years(since Catac.). So many good memories there but i think Classic will be my home. The most interesting thing i'm still learning new things after so many years and have fun.
What do you feel after launch?

Yeah im still playing it after my 2 month long break. Literally everyone on my server is now 60 and my main warrior is still 52

I have zero interest in raiding, so not much to do but level up alts currently. Once BGs are implemented ill be active.

I am playing both. I mount farm, Mythic +, and do world pvp on my 111 Twink killing 120s on one screen.

Leveling my Troll hunter and watching my guild Raid MC / Ony on Classic. I am level 40 right now and taking my time. I want to be 60 and geared when BWL / BGs come out and i will make a 19 twink rogue. I want to experience naxx in a year or whenever they decide to release it.

I get best of both worlds with 2 accounts.

I got to 45 relatively quickly, and kind of realized I'm rushing through the same shit I did 15 years ago to do even more of the shit I did 15 years ago. Kind of just focusing on other things in life and doing some casual vet pvp.

If I had time to play classic I would. I was around for vanilla and got rank 10 on an arms warrior in the OG honor system. I couldn’t see myself spending so much time striving only to achieve far less in classic. It seems fun as shit and the feedback has all been good but I’ve got too much real life shit goin on to do it right. That’s why f2p/vets has my heart atm. I can log, queue, blow a quick load of arcane missles on some faces, log off.

I’ve parked up my Vets also since Classic. I’ve logged them a few times for some 20 BG action, but spending most of my time on Classic.

I’m taking it slow though, still only lvl 39 and poor a$$ broke, so no mount for me :(

I never played Classic, so I’m enjoying the complexities and difficulties in quests etc. Love being able to aggro a mob from STV all the way to SW if u really want to - lol.

That Hunter bow in STV - that King Panther whatever his name is handed my party of 4 our backsides so many times, and u accidentally get another mob out of stealth while trying........ we spent like 3 hrs just trying to take him down. We did it eventually, main reason for failures was we didn’t have a heals, so kiting like anything...... oh, and I hadn’t updated my pet heal so was only healing like a poxy lvl 10 Hunter - lol - rookie mistake.......

I love the level specific difficulties. I wish Retail felt like this. It’s nice having that feeling like if u accidentally aggro 1 extra mob, it’s lights out or run......

Oh, and to see that green smiley face on my pets happiness.......... I’d play Classic just to keep my pet happy :D Though, Classic Hunters really need a 2nd prof called ‘Butcher’ as if it’s not arrows or bullets, it’s big slabs of meat they’re lugging around :p

I will probably be playing with my brother in law, so we will just do what sounds fun to us. I am looking forward to playing wow differently this time around. Instead of rushing to max lvl and trying to gear up for raids, I will be just doing what sounds fun to me. I think its going to be refreshing!

Still playing Classic here. Maybe 4-5 hours/week at the most, probably less. Mostly logging in to check auctions and stuff. Actual leveling time is more like 2 hours/week. I’m only 35 ATM, just hit it 2 days ago.
Slowly working on professions.
Tailoring-230
enchanting-190
Cooking-225
Fishing-220
First Aid-150
I haven’t played retail since Classic came out.

/cheers

Hunters can kite some mobs a long long ways. Hunters can kite Stitches to SW. Although the better alternative is Goldshire :)

First Blizzard unveiled corrupted gear, then they pocketed about 2 million worth of crowdfunding that was raised by players for the Blizzcon prizepool. I'll play for free, but I'm not giving them my money any time soon.
