Legion Azerite Gear Requires BFA Account

EDIT: Looks like Azerite gear might not work anymore in the BGs. I'll make a new post about this as it seems 110s might be over...

I haven't ever seen this discussed, but my BFA account just ran out of game time and that second the azerite neck piece stopped working on my Legion lock. I added game time to the BFA account and once the BG was over, the neck became active again. I thought I could let the BFA account expire, but maybe Blizzards thought was you need to own a BFA account for it to work. Just throwing it out there...

Yeah 110 community are testing the changes now to see under exactly what circumstances they no longer work.

Well, my neck is not working again, maybe it broke now? Doesn't work in pvp anymore it seems, hmm...

Appears all Az gear is disabled in any instanced area for Legion 110s. BGs, Raids, Dungeons, Order Halls that are instanced, ect

110s might be over...

You don't need the azerite gear man you'll be fine. Pyrdaz and tier pieces are plenty strong enough

dont have it in me to farm legion pve raids for gear. bfa gearing is relatively fast and decent que times at 110 but without the overlap of bfa gear.... youre not really twinking. you’re legion endgame pveing. even 210’s and leggos is barely heroic geared. i truly hope the dragon slaying nerds who do old content make a stink about this.

Oh no, blizz patched an exploit, how could anyone possibly have seen this coming? At least you didn't pay extra for azerite gear or anything silly like that....
